Today, we pray for the lonely

Lord Jesus, loneliness if the first thing that Your eyes seemed as not right. We pray for those among us who are living alone in this world – the singles, the married singles, the aged, the ostracised. We pray that Your presence will surround us when we are at our loneliest point. We pray that You provide us with the right partners to be Your loving touch and voice. Amen.

Today, we pray for protection

Lord Jesus, we plead for Your protection – from the wicked, evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. Today, we pray for those who need a spiritual awakening

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You individuals, families, churches and organisations that need a spiritual awakening. May your Spirit come into us and fill us with the gifts and fruits needed for growth. May we never slide in our faith. Let our lives shine and shine for You alone first. Amen.

Today, we pray for those who insult us with their words

Lord Jesus, there is no one who uses the power of words to heal as much as You do. We pray for Christians who inflict deep wounds with their tongue, without a care for others’ feelings. We pray that the ones who are at the receiving end – can heal, forgive and forget too, by Your grace. May we too become the kind of people who are gentle and loving in our speech. Let the anger, unforgiving attitude and hatred melt away when we are touched by You daily. Heal our tongues, Lord Jesus. Amen.
