Lord Jesus, today we thank You for Your immense love that took You to the cross and made You shed every last drop of Your blood for us. We pray that we honour Your love by keeping this week consecrated to You and holy. May we be broken completely and thus learn to love You and love Your own perfectly, today and for the rest of our lives. Amen.

As I look out on to the ocean My heart basks in your devotion Your love and blessings are vast as the sea Dear Lord you do hear the plea Of the sorrowful, and the down trodden A repenting heart’s sins are long forgotten The raging sea can not sink the ship That’s held in your grip You are my anchor that holds As the bad times unfold My fountain of joy and peace Where life’s storms will cease. ord Jesus, today we thank You for the angels we call our best friends. Bless, sanctify, heal, and strengthen our friendships, through the power of Your Holy Spirit. We praise You and glorify You for bringing them into our lives at the right time with their love and support – the friend in school, the one who shared secrets in college, the colleague who always lend an ear and the stranger who became the most integral part of our lives. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the families in the world. Lord, the evil one is destroying families and close relationships. We pray that families are protected and that strife is routed in Your mighty name. May the members of families learn the importance of praying – together and for each other. And through the power of that prayer, may we always live in physical and emotional togetherness and love. Amen.
