Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You each person facing death, especially an unnatural one. We pray that Your angels will hold them when they walk through the valley. Bless their loved ones with Your wisdom and peace. May each one of us have a peaceful death. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we pray that Your power falls on us. May the heavy anointing of the Holy Spirit be poured out on each one of us – the young and the old, men and women and people from all walks of life. May the world come to see Your glory and the manifestation of it. May Your people come together in one Spirit – to praise You as one church, one flock. May Your Spirit cleanse, heal and renew us all. Use us completely for You, Lord, forever until eternity. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our lack of trust in You. The fear, the doubt and the torment that we inflict upon ourselves, not knowing the extent of Your love for us. Lord, may we come to know Your love, even though it can never be completely known. May we never raise our thoughts, words or actions against You. Bless us to become truly Your children who know You. Amen.
Lord Jesus, You taught us a valuable lesson about loving those who hate us. We now pray for each person whom we have harmed and who has harmed us in any way. Sweet Jesus, let Your healing and love flow. Let peace be established. May Your children stop hurting each other through their thoughts, words and deeds. Bless each one of our enemies mightily today. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who deny the existence of You, our living God. May Your Holy Spirit convict them and bring them to repentance. We pray that every year that they have lost will be regained for Your glory, for Your kingdom. Open the eyes of their souls that they may really see You. Let us Christians be used as instruments to bring the lost back into the fold. May we never drive anyone away from You with our loveless words or actions. Keep us from losing our faith too. Amen.
