Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You our siblings – our own brothers and sisters and those we consider as siblings. We pray that every blessing may be theirs – good health, great family life, proper finances, lovely friendships and all that Your loving heart seems good, Jesus. Thank You Lord, for this indescribable gift of them. A special prayer for those among them who are still unsaved – those who do not believe in You. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each and every person who has broken our hearts, injured us physically or emotionally or hurt our dear ones. Lord, we make a decision to forgive. Please take hold of each pieces of our shattered hearts and make them whole again. Pour forth Your Spirit and give us the healing we need so badly. Wipe our tears tonight, when we are totally alone in this pain. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You every place on earth that is facing a natural calamity right now. Son of God, who commanded the winds and the waves, please have mercy on our world. We specially pray for those affected right now by hurricanes, bad weather, power and water supply disruptions. A prayer of mercy for those who are travelling or stuck at strange places, unable to reach home and for their loved ones far away. Let Your protection keep us safe, precious Jesus. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your presence – our pregnant wives, sisters, mothers and friends – and their spouses. We pray that each of these men and women are mightily anointed to become Godly Christian parents. We pray that the fathers, the mothers’ wombs and their babies are blessed. May the men who are to provide care and love, do so, with Your special touch. May Your angels, Saint Anne and Mother Mary give the mothers-to-be relief from their discomforts. Bless the women with safe and happy confinement and smooth labour and the men with hands and hearts willing...
Lord Jesus, we pray that You bless all the fathers and father figures in this world. Guide them to become good role models and the epitomes of love, hard work, integrity, dedication and honesty to their families. Let them truly know that the greatest they can do for their own children is to love their mothers. Help them to become a father like You are. Give them Your grace and patience to handle life and people, the vulnerable, Your loving way. Amen.
