Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the families in the world. Lord, the evil one is destroying families and close relationships. We pray that every family is protected and that strife is routed in Your mighty name. May members of families learn the importance of praying – together and for each other. And through the power of that prayer, may we always live in physical and emotional togetherness and love. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being tortured and murdered for their faith in You. Lord, let Your mercy and healing flow – into the prosecuted and the prosecutors. May the ones who harm us, know that to know You, is to love, serve and speak about You. May Your name be glorified and spread across the world every second. A special prayer for the souls of those martyred for Christian faith and for their families. May Thy church grow without bounds, Jesus. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who have requested our prayer support. The friend, the member of the family, the acquaintance, the colleague, the neighbour and the stranger – we bring them all to the foot of Your cross today, seeking that Your mighty Holy Spirit will touch them, heal their hearts and refresh their spirits. Answer their needs today, whatever they may be, Oh Jesus. May no prayer ever return unanswered. Bless them and their own. Thank You for giving us an opportunity to intercede for them. Give us more chances to be a blessing to them....
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all Your children who are longing to hold a baby in their arms. Lord, we pray for mercy. We pray for the grace to trust You and for strength, if the wait has been long. May all marriage beds be kept holy. Forgive all the sins couples have committed against their spirit, soul and body. We pray that more and more childless men and women will be open to giving orphans a home. May their cries for a complete family of their own be heard, Lord Jesus. Amen.
Dear God, loneliness is the first thing that Your eyes seemed as not right. We pray for those among us who are living alone in this world – the singles, the married singles, the elderly, the ostracised and the rejected. We pray that Your presence will surround us when we are at our loneliest point in our lives. We pray that You will provide us with the right partners to share Your loving touch and voice with. Give us the grace and the hearts to seek out the lonely and be a genuine friend. Amen.
