Today, we pray for the bedridden

Lord Jesus, today we bring to the foot of Your cross all our brothers and sisters who are tied to their beds. We pray that Your Holy Spirit brings strength back to their limbs and they rise and walk. We believe that by Your stripes they are healed. Lord, help us in our unbelief any time we waver. We also pray for the ones waiting on these friends, that they may get Your courage to serve better and serve in love. Be with them in their low points and highs. Amen.

Today, we pray for world peace

Lord Jesus, God of love, we pray that Your peace comes into our world. Our world is torn by broken individuals, distant factions and fighting countries. We pray that Your touch heals each one of them. May the love that Your Holy Spirit gives cleanse individuals, faiths, groups. God bless us all. Amen.

Prayer of the Day

Prayer of the Day Dear God, help me not to be consumed by my desire to be noticed and important. Allow me to see the illusion of the false promises this world touts as meaningful and necessary. May your call to loving service be that which gives true meaning and lasting importance to my life. Amen. Prayer to the Holy Spirit: Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your holy gifts. Let my weakness be penetrated with Your strength this very day that I may fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously, that I may do what is right...

Today, we pray for our best friends

Lord Jesus, today we thank You for the angels we call our best friends. Bless, sanctify, heal and strengthen our friendships. We praise You and glorify You for their love and support – the friend in school, the one who shared secrets in college, the colleague who always lend an ear and the stranger who became the most integral part of our lives. May they never see distress, but always be Your witnesses of love, peace and joy. Bless my best friend, Lord. Amen.

Today, we pray for a greater love towards the Holy Eucharist

Lord Jesus, You gave us Yourself in the Eucharist. We pray that the human race is truly grateful for it. Have mercy and convict the ones who commit sins against the Eucharist. May each one of us receive it with the awe that it deserves and more. Teach us to truly adore and rejoice in this beautiful expression of Your love. Amen.
