Lord Jesus, today we pray for those in entertainment, finance, media, art and other socially popular spheres. Lord, these are the people who pile up achievements – those faces we recognise and whose joy lie in their awards and accolades and in their wealth. Thank You for these people who make our lives more entertaining and relaxing. Now we say a prayer over them to claim their souls for You and You alone. We pray that these souls do not disconnect from You ever. Send them help, to bring them back to You, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to the foot of Your cross all those are putting up a show of piety. Lord, when You walked the earth, You hated hypocrisy and called it the yeast of the Pharisees. We pray that You cleanse Your church and its people of any trace of power abuse, hypocrisy, deception and lies. Tear down the walls of evil. Make us know that the punishment for deceivers will be great from a God who abhors deceit. Let true repentance happen and let us not make a mockery of our faith. Amen

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each man, woman and child seeking You. We pray that those who desperately wish to attend a retreat can do so soon. Remove the hindrances, anxieties, people and negative circumstances that are blocking their plans. We surrender each person and their desire to know You fully, at the foot of the cross. May their cries reach Your ears today and may they get the deliverance only You can give. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You created man and gave woman to him as a partner. We pray for those of us, especially Christians, who have gone through the pain of divorce and are now struggling with pain and guilt. We pray that those can receive complete healing and deliverance by Your power. May no one abuse our vulnerability and pain. Heal our wounds, and help us forgive and move on. Save the marriages that can be saved. Help the single ones, especially those with children. Bless and heal those tots. Make us believe that Your mercy flows after the world’s judgment, when...

Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who live on this earth with no one to call their own. May Your love surround them and make them feel wanted, instead of rejected. Lord, bless the old and the young who long for a family. We pray that homes will be opened to young ones who are seeking adoptive parents. May all of us human beings truly become one family – with members accountable to and for one another. Amen.
