Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who have requested our prayer support. The friend, the member of the family, the acquaintance, the colleague, the neighbour and the stranger – we bring them all to the foot of Your cross today, seeking that Your mighty Holy Spirit will touch them, heal their hearts and refresh their spirits. Answer their needs today, whatever they may be, Oh Jesus. May no prayer ever return unanswered. Bless them and their own. Thank You for giving us an opportunity to intercede for them. Give us more chances to be a blessing to them....

Lord Jesus, we pray today for Your children who are unhappy with the vocations they have chosen or been made to chose for their lives. May we be able to pray fervently and re-asses our choices – career, religious life, family status and singlehood. We desire to glorify Your purpose and perfect will in our lives, Jesus. So help us have the courage to make bold changes or major corrections if required, before its too late. May it really be a calling and not something to merely do with our lives. Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us and our families and dear ones, who are now really ill. Only You, the Divine Healer, can give people the complete healing for our spirits, souls and bodies. We pray that Your Spirit comforts those who are in pain. May no one go away from Your presence, unhappy or suffering. Heal us, sweet Jesus. May our lives become great witnesses of Your healing touch. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You taught us about love. But to some, love is manifested as lust. We pray for our brothers and sisters living in the bondage of sexual sin, especially the ones who live it in secret and have no qualms about it. May they have the courage and integrity to recognise their folly and fight it, with Your grace. Pour forth Your Spirit on each one of us so that we may never fall into this evil. Protect our own and our children from being preys to this too. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those are strangers to us – the people who we bump into during our daily walk. The men, women and children we do not know, but who are all opportunities You provide for us to share Your love. A special prayers for dear ones who have now become like strangers to us – estranged from us and our families. May each person we meet see Christ in us.
