Today, we pray for our relatives

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You today members of our extended family. We pray that illnesses and strife within our homes are healed, relationships washed in Your Precious Blood and mended. May we learn to love them as our own, as You decided they should be our own. May every negative thought and sickness be surrendered at the foot of Your cross today. Bless our dear ones to come closer to You and to each other. May we always bless and never curse each other. Let Your love flow into and through our family tree daily. Amen

Today, we pray for alcoholics

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those who are addicted to alcohol. Jesus, only You can heal these men and women who are caught in the web of intoxication. We pray that our youth especially, are protected from falling into this temptation. A special prayer for the spouses, parents and children of alcoholics. May our homes and organisations be places where individuals can celebrate without drinking. Heal all the alcoholics we have ever known. Amen.

Today, we pray for the wounded

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the wounded, from all over the world, especially the ones who are sitting all alone, broken. We pray they will turn to You, for a revival of their lives. We pray for healing that is complete – physical and emotional. We pray that Your love will seep through their spirits, souls and bodies, removing every hurt inflicted by people. May they walk into Your arms and walk boldly along hereafter, holding Your hand forever. Amen.
