Today, we pray for those hurt through misunderstandings

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You just pain – pain for the times we have been unfairly judged or misunderstood. Lord, take the pain and give Your peace in return. We chose to forgive; help us make it a daily, fervent decision. May we believers learn to recognise the devil’s tactics to plant discord, confusion and strife. May Your love penetrate into our very souls and heal us. Heal all our relationships by Your Precious Blood. Amen.

Today, we pray for those facing examinations

Lord Jesus, You are the source of all wisdom. As our children prepare for their exams, be by their side. Open their minds, awaken their intelligence and bless their skills. Let them not tire physically or emotionally. May they begin and end each exam with a prayer of trust and thanksgiving. We trust You Jesus, completely, with their future. Amen.

Today, we pray for those who are in pain

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those who are suffering. Many of our brothers are caught in physical, spiritual or emotional bondage. We pray that Your Word will become the solace that they desperately need. Touch their brows and heal their hearts, Lord. May Your Holy Spirit heal us completely in spirit, soul and body. Amen.

Today, we pray for those who are suicidal

Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being rammed by the cruellest attack against their souls – a tendency to kill themselves. We pray that Your heavenly and earthly angels will support them when they are at their lowest. May they always find a friendly hand to hold, pray and bring them back. Break the strongholds of evil and let this not transfer to the next generation. Deliver them right now and forever – by the mighty power of Your Precious Blood, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today, we pray for our parents

Lord Jesus, You gave some of us this privilege and honour – to parent new generations and we have been blessed with two amazing people to be part of Your plan for us. We thank You for this precious blessing, Jesus. Thank You Lord, for parents with wisdom needed to raise children who worship and love You more than anything else. May our own parenting be the kind that honours You, our creator. Amen.c
