Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You the leaders of our churches, countries, organisations and homes. We pray that they will be fine men and women who always listen to their conscience and have the guts to obey it, whatever may be the price. May Your Holy Spirit be with them every step of the way, building groups and people, not breaking them. Let them always be open to the cries of the people. Bring Your qualities of mercy, justice and honesty into their daily lifestyles. Strengthen those among us who are called to be leaders. Amen.

Protect our spirituality, families, friends, relationships, health, churches, ministries and jobs. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us from today in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Lord, these are the people who pile up achievements – those faces we recognise and whose joy lie in their awards, accolades, luxury and wealth. Thank You for these people who make our lives more entertaining and relaxing. Now we say a prayer over them to claim their souls for You and You alone. We pray that these souls do not disconnect from You ever. Send them timely help, to bring them back to Jesus. Amen.
