Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who live on this earth with no one to call their own. May Your love surround them and make them feel wanted, instead of rejected. Lord, bless the old and the young who long for a family. We pray that homes will be opened to young ones who are seeking adoptive parents. Forgive us the neglect or hundreds of orphaned people across the world. May all of us truly become one Christian family – with members accountable to and for one another. Amen.

Lord Jesus, our Saviour, we ask You to bless this season of Lent, as we prepare ourselves to know You more. We bring to You our sins, our fears, our tears, our hopes, our past, present and future. Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You our mothers and mother figures – those precious women who carried us in their wombs, nurtured us, prayed for us, corrected us and loved us, even while punishing us. May her every tear, prayer be answered by You, Almighty God, especially the ones for her family. Help us women become good Christian mothers who put you first and family second. Lord Jesus, on this day we specially lift unto You those who are caring for the ill – doctors, nurses and full time carers. Jesus, may they see You in the ones they are treating. Let care not become a business, but the biggest channel of Your divine love. May Your mercy and grace shine through these people, may the sick see You and sense Your blessing, peace and touch from these carers, when the suffering gets unbearable. A special prayer that these jobs are never abused. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we plead for the protection of Your Blood – from evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that blocks us away from loving You and loving our brethren like You want them loved. Amen.
