உடலை ஓறுத்தோம் மனதை ஒறுத்தோம். பாவத்தை வெறுத்தோம், தூய வாழ்வை நாடினோம், நாற்பது நாளாக போராடி பெற்று கொண்ட தூய வாழ்வை, இனிமேலும் தொடராமல், இன்றோடு நிறுத்திவிடுவோமானால்… மீண்டும் பழைய பாவ வாழ்க்கையையே நாடுவோமானால்… நாம் மேற்கொண்ட தவ ஒறுத்தல்கள் பயன்ற்றதும் வீணானதுமாக மாறிவிடும் அபாயம் ஏற்பட்டு விடும். ஆகவே அன்பர்களே இந்த தவக்காலத்தில் நாம் மேற்கொண்ட பக்தி முயற்சிகள், ஒழுக்க முயற்ச்சிகள், பிறரண்பு பணிகள், தூய வாழ்வு வாழ்தல் ஆகிய கிறிஸ்தவ பண்புகள் நம் வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் தொடர வேண்டும். இதுவே இயேசு ஆண்டவரின் உயிர்ப்பு பெருநாள் நற்செய்தி. இந்த உயிர்த்த இயேசுவின் நற்செய்தியை நமது வாழ்வாக்கிடுவோம். அனைவருக்கும் இனிய உயிர்ப்பு பெருநாள் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள். Lord Jesus, our Saviour, today we pray for those of our brethren who are longing to come back to You, to a constant relationship with You. Lord, only You know what is stopping them – their challenges, confusions and struggles. We pray that when they return, they return with fervour and lifelong dedication, never to go away or astray again. Bless also the ones who are standing by and waiting, the family and friends praying ceaselessly for their return. Keep them away from blind leaders of the blind. இயேசு தனது சீடர் ஒவ்வொருவரின் மீதும் எந்த அளவுக்கு அன்பும் பாசமும் வைத்திருந்தார் என்பது, இந்த உயிர்ப்பு நிகழ்ச்சியில் தெளிவாகிறது. இயேசு இறந்தபோது ஓய்வுநாள் நெருங்கிவிட்டதால் அவசர, அவசரமாக அவரது உடலை அடக்கம் செய்தனர். எனவே, வழக்கமாக செய்யும் சடங்குமுறைகளை முழுமையாக அவர்களால் செய்ய முடியவில்லை. செய்ய வேண்டிய சடங்குமுறைகளை செய்துமுடிப்பதற்காக வெகுவிரைவாகவே, ஓய்வுநாள் முடிந்தவுடன் கல்லறைக்குச் செல்கிறார்கள். ஏறக்குறைய எல்லார் மனதிலும் ஒருவிதமான கலக்கமும், திகிலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது. எல்லாமே முடிந்துவிட்ட மனநிலையில் அவர்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள். இரண்டொரு நாட்களில் அவர்களின் வாழ்வே மாறிவிடும் என்று அவர்களால் நம்பவே முடியவில்லை. அப்படியிருக்கிற சூழ்நிலையில் தான், இயேசு உயிர்த்துவிட்டார் என்கிற செய்தி, சீடர்களுக்குத் தரப்படுகிறது. இந்த செய்தி அனைவருக்கும் சொல்ல முடியாத மகிழச்சியைத் தந்திருந்தாலும், பேதுருவுக்கு அது மிக மகிழ்ச்சியான அனுபவமாக இருந்திருக்கும். ஏனென்றால் வெண்தொங்கலாடை அணிந்த இளைஞர் பெண்களிடம், ”பேதுருவிடமும், மற்றச்சீடரிடமும் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவர் கலிலேயாவிற்குப் போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்பதைச் சொல்லுங்கள்” என்ற...
