Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who have a lukewarm relationship with You and Your people. Lord, You said that those who are neither hot nor cold would be spat out. We pray that we really begin to live out our Christian faith with love, passion, freedom and grace. May we also never become blind followers of the blind, but exercise Your wisdom and caution, when facing challenges in our faith walk. Bring Your Spirit alive in us – every day – give us a fresh anointing of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.

கடவுள் தந்தை, மகன், தூய ஆவி ஆகிய மூன்று ஆட்களாய் இருக்கின்றார். ஆயினும் ஒரே கடவுள் என்பதே மூவொரு கடவுள் பற்றிய அடிப்படையான இறையியல். இயேசுகிறிஸ்து மனிதனாகப் பிறந்தார். இவரில் மனிதத்தன்மையும் இறைத்தன்மையும் ஒருங்கிணைந்து உள்ளன. இவ்விசுவாசம் வழிபாட்டில் பல்வேறு விதங்களில் வெளிப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. ஒவ்வொரு திருவழிபாடும் மூவொரு கடவுளின் புகழ்ச்சியோடுதான் தொடங்குகின்றது. திருப்பலியில் நற்கருணை மன்றாட்டின் முடிவில் ”இவர் வழியாக…” என்கிற மூவொரு கடவுளின் புகழ்ச்சி பாடப்படுகின்றது. திருமுழுக்கும் இவ்வாறு கொடுக்கப்படுகிறது. அதேபோல ஒவ்வொரு தொடக்கவுரையிலும் இந்த இறையியல் வெளிப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. ஒன்பதாம் நூற்றாண்டு வரை, இது வழிபாட்டில் திருவிழாவாக ஏற்படுத்தப்படவில்லை. கி.பி. பதினோராம் நூற்றாண்டில் புனித பெனடிக்ட் சபையைச் சேர்ந்த துறவற மடங்களில் பெந்தகோஸ்தே நாளுக்குப் பிறகு இந்த திருவிழா கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இவ்விழாவை திருத்தந்தை 22 ம் ஜான், கி.பி 1334 ல் அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். திருச்சபை வரலாற்றில் நெருக்கடியான வேளையில் பல்வேறு சவால்களை திருச்சபை சந்தித்த அக்காலக்கட்டத்தில் இறைவன் பராமரித்து பாதுகாத்து...

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You every place on earth that is facing a natural calamity right now. Son of God who commanded the winds and the waves, please have mercy on our world. We specially pray for those affected right now by earthquakes, hurricanes, bad weather, power and water supply disruptions. A prayer of mercy for those who are travelling or stuck at strange places, unable to reach home and for their loved ones far away. Let Your protection keep us safe, Jesus. Amen.
