“Let Your kindness come to me, O Lord.” –Psalm 119:41 In today’s first eucharistic reading and Gospel passage, the Galatian Christians and the Pharisees are admonished by St. Paul and Jesus, respectively. These two groups seem to have been unable to grasp that God prefers to work through merciful love and loving-kindness rather than through religious practices motivated by attempts to justify ourselves with the Lord. லூக்கா 11:37-41 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். தா்மம் தலை காக்கும் என்பது நாம் வாழ்க்கையில் பிறருக்கு செய்யும் உதவிகள் பிறகு நமக்கு திருப்பி கிடைக்கும் என்பது பொருள். இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகத்தில் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு சொல்வது மிகவும் வித்தியாசமாக உள்ளது. உங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் உள்ளதை தர்மமாக கொடுங்கள். உங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் உள்ள அன்பு, அக்கறை, பாசம், இரக்கம், மன்னிப்பு, மகிழ்ச்சி போன்ற நற்பண்புகளை தர்மமாக பிறருக்கு கொடுங்கள் என்கிறார். இங்கு இயேசு சொல்வது பொருள் அல்ல மாறாக நற்பண்புகள். நாம் தர்மம் கொடுக்க வேண்டுமென்றால் நமக்குள் கண்டிப்பாக அந்த நற்பண்புகள் கண்டிப்பாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அந்த நற்பண்புகளை நாம் பெற்றிருக்க இரண்டு செயல்களில் மிக விரைவாக...

லூக்கா 11:29-32 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். ஆண்டவரை அடையாளத்திற்காக, அதிசயத்திற்காக மட்டும் நாம் தேடினால் ஏமாற்றம் தான் அதிகமாக வரும். அப்போது தான் நம் நம்பிக்கையில் இருள் படா்ந்து நிற்கும். அற்புதத்திற்காக தேடாமல் மனமாற்றம் பெறுவதற்காக தேடினால் அவரின் கட்டளைகளைக் கண்டிப்பாக நாம் கடைப்பிடிப்போம். ஆண்டவரிடம் அதிசயம், அற்புதம் கிடைக்கும் என எதிர்பார்ப்பவர்களிடம் இரண்டு தவறான பண்புகள் இருப்பதை இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகம் அடிக்கோடிட்டு காட்டுகிறது. 1. அவநம்பிக்கை ஒருசிலர் ஆண்டவா் அதிசயம் செய்தால் தான் அவரை நம்புவேன். அவர் அதிசயம் செய்யவில்லை என்றால் ஆலயம் வரமாட்டேன். அவரை பார்க்கமாட்டேன். அவருக்கும் எனக்கும் தொடர்பில்லை என்ற எண்ணம் கொண்டிருப்பது மிகவும் தவறானது. இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கையும் இருப்பதில்லை....
