லூக்கா 14:25-33 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். பரபரப்பான உலகில் வாழும் நாம் வாழ்க்கையில் எதையும் நிதானமாக உட்கார்ந்து சிந்திப்பதில்லை. உட்கார்ந்து சிந்திக்கும் போதுதான் நம்மைப் பற்றிய உண்மை நிலவரங்கள் வெளிப்படுகின்றன. அதிலே தான் நாம் நம்மை முன்னேற்றுவதற்கான செயல்பாடுகளைச் செய்ய முடிகிறது. உட்காருவதால் உண்டாகும் இரண்டு முக்கிய பலன்களை சொல்லித் தர வந்திருக்கிறது இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகம். 1. பலம் கிடைக்கிறது நாம் உட்கார்ந்து சிந்திக்கும்போது கடினமான வாழ்க்கையை சந்திப்பதற்கான பலம் கிடைக்கிறது. உட்கார்ந்து ஒரு சில மணித்துளிகள் சிந்திக்கும்போது நம் மனது பலவிதமான, புதுமையான யோசனைகளை அள்ளி அள்ளி வழங்குகிறது. இயேசுவின் பின்னால் செல்லும் போது ஏற்படும் துன்பங்களை எப்படி சளி்க்காமால் சமாளிக்க வேண்டும்...

“Your attitude must be that of Christ.” –Philippians 2:5 To have Christ’s attitude seems impossible. However, it’s not only possible but a “must” (Phil 2:5). Jesus’ attitude is to empty Himself by obediently accepting even death on the cross, and through death be glorified (Phil 2:7-9). We must have that attitude. There are no excuses (Lk 14:18). பிலிப்பியர் 2: 5 – 11 ”கிறிஸ்து இயேசு கொண்டிருந்த மனநிலையே உங்களிலும் இருக்கட்டும்”. கிறிஸ்து இயேசு இந்த உலகத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, எப்படிப்பட்ட மனநிலை கொண்டிருந்தார்? ”காலம் நிறைவேறி விட்டது. இறையாட்சி நெருங்கி வந்துவிட்டது. மனம் மாறி நற்செய்தியை நம்புங்கள்” (மாற்கு 1: 15). இது தான் இயேசுவின் மனநிலையாக இருந்தது. இயேசு இந்த உலகத்திற்கு வந்தது, மக்களை மனம் திருப்பி, இறைவனின் பக்கம் அவர்களைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்க்க வேண்டும் என்பது தான் ஆகும். எந்த மக்கள்? லூக்கா நற்செய்தியாளர் இதற்கான பதிலைத் தருகிறார். ”ஏழைகளுக்கு நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கவும், சிறைப்பட்டோர் விடுதலை அடைவர், பார்வையற்றவர் பார்வை பெறுவர் என முழக்கமிடவும், ஒடுக்கப்பட்டோரை விடுதலை செய்து அனுப்பவும்..”. இயேசு வருவதற்கு முன்னால், மேற்சொன்ன அனைவருமே, மற்ற போதகர்களால் விலக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தனர். இனி அவர்களுக்கு இறையாட்சியில் இடமில்லை என்கிற நிலையே நீடித்தது. அவர்கள் சமூகத்திலிருந்து முற்றிலுமாக புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டனர். அவர்களைத் தீண்டுவாரும் எவருமில்லை. ஆனால், இயேசு...
