எங்கே செய்ய வேண்டும் என்கிற உந்துதல் இருக்கிறதோ, அங்கே நிச்சயம் அதைச்செய்வதற்கான வழி உண்டு – என்று பொதுவாகச் சொல்வார்கள். இயேசுவின் பணிவாழ்வு இதற்கு சிறந்த எடுத்துக்காட்டு. இயேசுவின் உறவுகள் கூட அவரைப்புரிந்து கொள்ளாத கடுமையான நேரம். இவ்வளவு நாட்கள், தொழுகைக்கூடத்தலைவர்களின் சிறந்த போதகராக வலம் வந்த இயேசுகிறிஸ்து, அவர்களாலே புறக்கணிக்கப்படுகிறார். காரணம், அதிகாரவர்க்கத்தினரின் அழுத்தம் தாங்காமல், அவர்கள் இயேசுவுக்கு தொழுகைக்கூடத்தில் போதிப்பதற்கு அனுமதி மறுக்கிறார்கள். இயேசு மனமுடைந்து விடவில்லை. சோர்ந்து போகவில்லை. ஆனால், இறைவார்த்தையைப் போதிக்க வேண்டும் என்கிற எண்ணம் மட்டும் அவருக்குள்ளாக மிகத்தீவிரமாக இருக்கிறது. இந்த உலகம் கடவுளின் அழகான இல்லம். நிச்சயம் எங்கு வேண்டுமானாலும் என்னால் போதிக்க முடியும் என்று சொல்லி, இறைவார்த்தையைப் போதிப்பதில் கருத்தாய் இருக்கிறார் இயேசு, இயேவை போதிக்க விடக்கூடாது என்பதின் அடுத்த அழுத்தம் தான், அவருடைய உறவினர்களை, அதிகாரவர்க்கத்தினர் தூண்டிவிடுவது. ஆனால், இயேசு இறைவார்த்தை ஒன்றையே தனது இலட்சியமாகக் கொண்டு வாழ்கிறார். இயேசுவிடத்தில்...
