Lord Jesus, loneliness is the first thing that Your eyes seemed as not right. We pray for those among us who are living alone in this world – the singles, the married singles, the aged, the ostracised. We pray that Your presence will surround us when we are at our loneliest point. We pray that You provide us with the right partners to be Your loving touch and voice. More than anything, let us have a relationship with You, that loneliness does not strike us with force. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we pray today for little children who are struggling to understand You and Your working in our tough, unfair world. We pray that our children are touched by Your Holy Spirit, so that they understand how to obey and honour You, even when life gives them tough knocks. Be with them every moment and send Your angels to aid them when they are in emotional, physical or spiritual danger. May they become real children of light. Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who deny the existence of You, our living God. May Your Holy Spirit convict them and bring them to repentance. We pray that every year they have lost will be regained for Your glory, for Your kingdom. Open the eyes of their souls that they may really see You. Let us Christians be used as instruments to bring the lost back into the fold. Keep us from losing the faith too. Amen.
