THE WORST FEARS ARE YET TO COME

THE WORST FEARS ARE YET TO COME “…in the sky fearful omens and great signs.” –Luke 21:11 Are you afraid of anything? I hope not because the worst is yet to come. We will “hear of wars and insurrections” (Lk 21:9) even more so than we do today. “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, plagues, and famines in various places – and in the sky fearful omens and great signs” (Lk 21:10-11). “Men will die of fright in anticipation of what is coming upon the earth” (Lk 21:26). Today, we pray for those who weep for their children

Lord Jesus, we pray for all those parents weeping and praying for their beloved children. No parent would want to see their children go through physical, emotional or spiritual sicknesses. O Lord take into account the valuable tears of those parents who are praying for their children. May their tears be honoured by You. May their children get healed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Let us raise a generation that truly honours You and You alone first. Amen.

One thing is to be known as people who do good and the other is to...

Today, we pray for the fight against terrorism

Lord Jesus, we pray for terrorism to end. May Your Holy Spirit touch the hearts and hands of men and women who have chosen terrorism as the way to win their battles. Lord, show them that no agenda that’s against love will ever win. We pray and bless the families and friends of the victims of terrorist attacks. Heal our world, sweet Jesus, with Your mighty touch of love. Amen.

A King with a difference!

A King with a difference! Ez 34: 11-12, 15-17; 1 Cor 15: 20-26, 28; Mt 25: 31-46 Christ the King Sunday marks the beginning of the last week of the Liturgical year and thus it serves as a fitting culmination of the year, a climax to end the year with. The one whose birth, life, death and resurrection that we remembered and celebrated all through this liturgical year, is our King. We celebrate our King today, our King who is madly in love with us, our King who had given up everything for the sake of the love that he...
