கர்த்தருக்குள் அன்பான சகோதரர், சகோதரிகளுக்கு நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இனிய நாமத்தில் என் அன்பின் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள். இந்தநாளிலும் ஆண்டவர் நமக்கு அருளிய அவருடைய மகிமையின் ராஜ்யத்தை நாம் அலட்சியம் செய்யாமல் அவருடைய ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தைக்கும் கீழ்படிந்து, பயந்து நடந்து அந்த ராஜ்யத்தில் பங்குபெறும் பேற்றை அடைவோமாக. ஆண்டவரைப்பற்றி அறிந்தும் அவரை ஏதோ கோடி தெய்வத்தில் அவரும் ஒருவர் என்று இல்லாமல், அவர் ஒருவரே தெய்வம் என்று உணர்ந்தவர்களாய் செயல்படுவோம். எவ்வளவோ பேர்கள் அறிந்தும் அலட்சியம் செய்வதுபோல் நாம் இல்லாமல் அவர் காட்டும் வழியில் நடந்து அவருக்கே மகிமை உண்டு பண்ணுவோம். கண்டும் காணாதவர்களாயும், கேட்டும் கேளாதவர்களாயும், உணர்ந்துக கொள்ளாமலும் இருக்காதபடிக்கு நம்முடைய இருதயத்தில்உணர்ந்து மனந்திருந்துவோம். ஏனெனில் அநேக மக்கள் கேட்டும் கருத்தில் கொள்வதில்லை. உங்கள் கண்களால் பார்த்துக்கொண்டேயிருந்தும் உணர்வதில்லை. இம்மக்களின் நெஞ்சம் கொழுத்துப்போய்விட்டது. காதும் மந்தமாகி விட்டது. இவர்கள் தம் கண்களை மூடிக்கொண்டார்கள். எனவே கண்ணால் காணாமலும் காதால் கேளாமலும் உள்ளத்தால் உணராமலும் மனம் மாறாமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள். நானும் அவர்களை குணமாக்காமல் இருக்கிறேன். உங்கள் கண்களோ பேறுபெற்றவை. ஏனெனில்...

Lord Jesus, You created man and gave woman to him as a partner. We pray for those of us, especially Christians, who are living through the pain of ‘married singlehood’. Breathe life into our marriages, Holy Spirit. We pray that men and women can receive complete healing and deliverance by Your power. Bind the devil from abusing vulnerability and pain in a marriage. Heal wounds and help couples to forgive and move on. Bless and heal their children. And help us bring ourselves, our marriages and our partners – to You, daily and forever. Amen.

ஒரு ஊரில் மிகவும் சந்தோஷமாக டேவிட்டின் குடும்பம் வாழ்ந்து வந்தனர்.ஒருநாள் டேவிட்டின் பிள்ளைகள் இரண்டு பேரும்,அக்காவும், தம்பியுமாக சேர்ந்து அவர்கள் வீட்டின் அருகில் உள்ள பூங்காவில் விளையாடிக்கொண்டு இருந்தனர். அப்பொழுது தம்பி தனது அக்காவிடம் அக்கா வா அருகில் ஒரு ஆறு ஓடுகிறது. நாம் அதை பார்த்து விட்டு வரலாம்,என்று கூப்பிட்டான். அக்கா தனது தம்பியிடம் வேண்டாம் என்று சொல்லியும் தம்பி பிடிவாதமாக கூப்பிட்டதால் அக்காவும் மனமிரங்கி சரி தம்பியின் ஆசையை நிறைவேற்றலாம் என்று நினைத்து போகலாம் என்று சொன்னாள். இருவரும் சேர்ந்து ஒரு ஒத்தையடி பாதை வழியாக நடந்து பக்கத்தில் உள்ள எல்லா இயற்கை காட்சிகளையும் கண்டு களித்தவாறு போய் கொண்டு இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் தங்களை மறந்த நிலையில் சந்தோஷமாக இருந்ததால் வெகு தொலைவில் வந்துவிட்டனர். பிறகுதான் தெரிந்தது, தாங்கள் வெகு தொலைவில் வந்துவிட்டோமே என்று, திடீரென்று அச்சமயத்தில் பனிமழை பொழிய ஆரம்பித்தது. தாங்கள் வந்த பாதை தெரியாமல் இருவரும் தடுமாறினார். நேரம் ஆக, ஆக இருட்ட ஆரம்பித்தது.இருட்டில் பாதை தெரியாமல் எப்படியாவது வீடு போய் சேர வேண்டும்...
