கடவுளிடத்தில் அசையாத நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு நாம் வாழ வேண்டும் என்பது இயேசுவின் போதனையில் மிக மையமான கருத்து. இங்கே நம்பிக்;கை எனப்படுவது பழைய மொழிபெயர்ப்பியல் ”விசுவாசம்” என அமைந்திருந்தது. இதையே பற்று, பற்றுறுதி எனவும் நாம் கூறலாம். கடவுளையே பற்றிக் கொள்வோர் வேறு பற்றுக்களால் பிணைக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள். பிற பற்றுக்களிலிருந்து நாம் விடுதலை பெறுகின்ற வேளையில்தான் கடவுளிடத்தில் நாம் கொள்கின்ற நம்பிக்கை என்னும் பற்று பொருளுள்ளதாக மாறும். எனவே, இயேசு மண்ணுலகில் நம்பிக்கை எவ்வளவு நாள் தொடர்ந்து இருக்குமோ எனக் கேட்கின்ற கேள்வி நம் உள்ளத்தில் ஒரு சலனத்தை ஏற்படுத்த வேண்டும். இயேசு கூறிய உவமையில் வருகின்ற ”நேர்மையற்ற நடுவர்” மற்றும் அவரை அணுகிச் சென்று நீதிகேட்ட ”கைம்பெண்” ஆகியோரை (காண்க: லூக் 18:1-8) நாம் உருவகமாகப் பார்க்கலாம். அதாவது, அந்த நடுவர் அநீதியான ஓர் அமைப்பைக் காட்டிக் காத்தவர் எனலாம். நீதி வழங்கும் பொறுப்பை முறையாகச் செய்ய அவர் தவறிவிட்டார்....

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are mentally unstable. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name we pray that they will be delivered and saved from destruction. Let schizophrenia, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, fear, psychosis, neurosis, depression and all kinds of mental illness be routed from our families and communities. Let these people never harm themselves or others. Let them be set free from all emotional bondages, forever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
