கிறிஸ்துமஸ் மகிழ்விலும் சான்று பகர்வோம் !

முதல் மறைசாட்சியான புனித ஸ்தேவானின் விழாவை இன்று கொண்டாடுகிறோம். இயேசுவுக்காக தன் உயிரையும் கையளித்து, மறைசாட்சிகளின் வரலாற்றில் முதல் இடம் பெற்ற பெருமையை அடைந்தவர் புனித ஸ்தேவான். அவரது இறப்பு இயேசுவின் இறப்பைப் போலவே இறைவனின் மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவதாக அமைந்திருக்கிறது. வாழ்வில் மட்டுமல்ல, சாவிலும் நாம் இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும் என்பதற்கு ஸ்தேவான் எடுத்துக்காட்டாகத் திகழ்கிறார். கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பு விழாவின் மகிழ்ச்சியில் திளைத்திருக்கும் நாம் நம்முடைய வாழ்வு எப்போதும் ஆண்டவருக்கு சான்று பகர்வதாக அமையவேண்டும் என்பதை நினைவுகொள்வோம். எல்லாச் சூழ்நிலைகளிலும், எல்லா வேளைகளிலும் நமது வாழ்வு இறைவார்த்தையின்படி, இறைத்திருவுளத்தின்படி அமைந்தால், அதுவே நமது சாட்சிய வாழ்வு. கிறிஸ்துமஸ் விழாவின் மகிழ்ச்சியிலும், கொண்டாட்டத்திலும்கூட நாம் இயேசுவுக்கு சாட்சிகளாய் வாழ வேண்டும். நமது சொற்களும், கொண்டாட்டங்களும் இறைவனுக்குப் பிரியமானதாக அமையட்டும். மன்றாடுவோம்: அன்பே உருவான ஆண்டவரே, இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் விழாவின் மகிழ்ச்சி;க்காகவும், புனித ஸ்தேவானின் மறைசாட்சியத்திற்காகவும் உம்மைப் போற்றுகிறோம். நன்றி கூறுகிறோம். எல்லாச் சூழலிலும்,...

Lord Jesus, today we welcome You, Immanuel, God with us. Father God, thank You for sending Your precious Son to save me and my own from our sins. Thank You for Your love, Holy trinity. Purify our hearts and help us welcome Him with all the devotion that He truly deserves, into our hearts and homes. May each one of us, Your children, be mightily anointed by Your Holy Spirit today.
