உடல் நலத்திற்கும், பாவ மன்னிப்புக்கும் உள்ள நெருங்கிய தொடர்பை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகம் (மாற்கு எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 2: 1-12). முடக்குவாதமுற்ற மனிதரைக் குணப்படுத்த விரும்பும் இயேசு “மகனே, உன் பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டன” என்கிறார். உடல், உள்ள நலம் பெறுவதற்காக தியானங்கள் நடைபெறுகின்ற இடங்களில் பாவ மன்னிப்புப் பெற ஒப்புரவு அருள்சாதனப் பங்கேற்பு மிகவும் வலியுறுத்தப்படுகின்றது. நமது ஆன்மாவையும், உள்ளத்தையும் அழுத்தும் குற்ற உணர்வு, பாவக் கறைகள் நீக்கப்பட்டால்தான் நாம் உடல் நலம் பெறமுடியும், முழுமையான குணம் பெறமுடியும் என்பதை உளவியல் அறிஞர்கள் இன்று சுட்டிக்காட்டுகின்றனர். எனவே, முன் எப்போதையும்விட அதிகமாக நாம் வாழும் இந்நாள்களில் ஒப்புரவு அருள்சாதனத்தின் அருமை, அவசியம் எடுத்துரைக்கப்பட வேண்டும். இறைவனின் இரக்கத்தையும், மன்னிப்பையும் அனுபவிப்பவர்களால்தான் முழுமையான நலம் பெறமுடியும் என்பதைப் பிறருக்கு அறிவிப்போமாக! மன்றாடுவோம்: ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுவே, உம்மைப் போற்றுகிறோம். பாவிகளாகிய எம்மீது இரக்கம் கொண்டு, எங்களை மன்னிப்பீராக. இதனால், உமது நலமளிக்கும்...
