”தம் ஒரே மகன் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளும் எவரும் அழியாமல் நிலைவாழ்வு பெறும் பொருட்டு அந்த மகனையே அளிக்கும் அளவுக்குக் கடவுள் உலகின்மேல் அன்பு கூர்ந்தார்” என்கிற இந்த இறைவார்த்தை, கடவுள் எந்த அளவுக்கு இந்த உலகத்தை அன்பு செய்கிறார் என்பது நமக்குத் தெரியவருகிறது. கடவுள் யாரை அன்பு செய்தார்? இந்த உலகத்தை அன்பு செய்தார். உலகம் என்பது எதைக்குறிக்கிறது? ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட நாட்டைக் குறிப்பிடவில்லை. ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட மனிதரைக் குறிப்பிடவில்லை. மாறாக, ஒட்டுமொத்த மனிதகுலத்தை அது குறிப்பதாக இருக்கிறது. இந்த உலகத்தில் நல்லவர்களும் கெட்டவர்களும் இணைந்தே வாழ்கிறார்கள். கடவுள் நல்லவர்களை மட்டும் அன்பு செய்து, கெட்டவர்களை விலக்கிவைக்கவில்லை. அனைவரையும் அன்பு செய்கிறார். தன்னை நினைக்கிறவர்களை மட்டும் கடவுள் நினைக்கவில்லை. தன்னைப்பற்றிய அறியாதவர்கள், தன்னை ஒரு பொருட்டாக மதிக்காதவர்கள், தன்னை குறைகூறுகிறவர்கள் என அனைவரையும் கடவுள் அன்பு செய்கிறார். இதுதான் கடவுளின் பரந்துபட்ட அன்பு. இதுதான் முழுமையான அன்பு. இதுதான் நிலையான...

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You today members of our extended family. We pray that illnesses and strife within our homes are healed and relationships washed in Your Precious Blood and mended. May we learn to love them as our own, just as You decided they should be our own. May every negative thought and sickness be surrendered at the foot of Your cross today. Bless our dear ones to come closer to You and to each other. May we always bless and never curse each other. Let Your love flow into and through our family tree daily. Amen.

“Yes, God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him may not die but may have eternal life.” —John 3:16 Those who believe in Jesus have eternal life (Jn 20:31). Jesus came that we may have life and have it to the full (Jn 10:10). Jesus is the Life (Jn 11:25; 14:6), and He gives life (Jn 5:21). The angel who freed the apostles from prison told them: “Preach to the people all about this new life” (Acts 5:20). Isaiah 64:8 (WEB) But now, Yahweh, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand. Promise #95: I am your Father and you are My handiwork. The Bible tells us in Genesis that God formed Adam out of the dust of the earth. I wonder if the creation process that happened in the Garden of Eden was similar to the reference that Isaiah makes in today’s Scripture passage? God is a loving Father who formed us with His own loving hands. His eyes are focused on each one...

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who have ever requested our prayer support. The friend, the member of the family, the acquaintance, the colleague, the neighbour, the religious and the stranger – we bring them all to the foot of Your cross today, seeking that Your mighty Holy Spirit will touch them, heal their hearts and refresh their spirits. Answer their needs today, whatever they may be, Oh Jesus. May they clearly know today that no prayer returns unanswered. Bless them and their own. Thank You for giving us an opportunity to intercede for them. Amen.
