Lord of restoration, when You breathe life into our losses, they become precious gains once again. May no child of Yours despair today over anything that he or she has lost. இயேசு தனது சீடர்களை கடவுளின் பணிக்காக அனுப்பும்போது, பிற இனத்தவரின் பகுதிக்குச் செல்ல வேண்டாம் என்று சொல்கிறார். இயேசு கடவுளின் மகன். இந்த உலகத்தையே படைத்து பராமரிக்கிறவர். இந்த உலகத்தில் உள்ள அனைவருமே அவரின் பிள்ளைகள். அப்படியிருக்க, இயேசு இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு குறுகிய எண்ணத்தை பறைசாற்றும் அறிவுரையைக்கூற வேண்டுமா? இயேசு குறுகிய மனம் கொண்டவரா? இயேசு சிதறிப்போன மக்களுக்காக மட்டும்தான் வந்தாரா? புறவினத்து மக்கள் கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகள் இல்லையா? என்ற கேள்விகள் நம் மனதில் நிச்சயமாக எழும். தமிழில் ஒரு பழமொழி சொல்வார்கள்: ”ஆழக்கால் வைத்தாலும், அகலக்கால் வைக்காதே”. இயேசுவின் இலக்கு இந்த உலகமெங்கிலும் நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்கப்பட வேண்டுமென்பது. அந்த திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்த பல முயற்சிகளையும், முன்னெடுப்புகளையும் மேற்கொள்கிறார். அதனுடைய ஒரு செயல்முறை திட்ட அடிப்படையில்தான், தனது எல்லையை சிறிது, சிறிதாக, படிப்படியாக விரிவுபடுத்துகிறார். யூத மனநிலையில் இருக்கிற தன்னுடைய சீடர்களையும் மெதுவாக பக்குவப்படுத்தும் பணியை இயேசு செய்தாக வேண்டும். ஒரேநாளில்...
