துருவங்களை இணைப்பவர் இயேசு

தொழுகைக்கூடத்தில் இயேசுவுக்கு எதிர்ப்பு வலுக்க ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டது. பரிசேயர்களும், சதுசேயர்களும் இயேசுவிடம் குற்றம் காண நேரம் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். இயேசு தனது போதனை தளத்தை மாற்ற ஆரம்பிக்கிறார். தொழுகைக்கூடத்திலிருந்து, கடற்கரையிலும், தெருக்களிலும், ஆலயத்திலும் அவர் போதிக்கத்தொடங்குகிறார். இயேசு வாழ்ந்த காலத்தில், போதகர்களுக்கு பணிவிடை செய்வது என்பது ஆசீர்வாதமான செயலாகக் கருதப்பட்டது. போதகர்கள் செல்கிறபோது, அவரோடு உடனிருந்து, அவருக்குத்தேவையானவற்றை செய்து தருவதற்கு பலர் தானாகவே முன்வந்தனர். இயேசுவோடு பெண்களும் உடனிருந்தார்கள் என்பதை இன்றைய நற்செய்தியில் நாம் பார்க்கிறோம். இயேசுவோடு உடனிருந்த பெண்களில் முக்கியமானவர்கள் மகதலா மரியாவும், யோவன்னாவும். இந்த மகதலாவிடமிருந்து இயேசு பல பேய்களை ஓட்டியிருந்தார். அவருடைய கடந்த கால வாழ்க்கை ஒரு பாவ வாழ்க்கை. அவரோடு யோவன்னாவும் இருந்தார். இந்த யோவன்னா, ஏரோதுவின் மாளிகையில் மேற்பார்வையாளராக இருந்த கூசாவின் மனைவி. மேற்பார்வையாளர் பணி அதிகாரம் மிகுந்த பணி. அரசருடைய அனைத்து உடைமைகளுக்கும் பொறுப்பு இவராவார். அரசரின் மதிப்பையும், அன்பையும், நம்பிக்கையையும் பெற்ற ஒருவர் தான்...

தூய வியாகுல அன்னை திருவிழா

இந்த திருவிழா மரியாளின் துயரங்களை நினைவுகூற, ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்ட விழாவாகும். இது ஜெர்மனி மற்றும் போர்த்துகல் நாட்டில் தொடக்க காலங்களில் வெகுசிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. போர்த்துகல் நாட்டு மறைப்பணியாளர்கள் தாங்கள் பணியாற்றிய பல இடங்களிலும் இதைக் கொண்டாடினர்.. உதாரணமாக, தமிழ்நாட்டில் ”பத்ரோவாதோ மறைபணியாளர்கள்” என்றழைக்கப்பட்ட இவர்கள் பல இடங்களில் வியாகுல அன்னை ஆலயங்களை எழுப்பி, அந்த பக்தி முயற்சியை வளர்த்தார்கள். திருத்தந்தை பதிமூன்றாம் பெனடிக்ட் 1721 ம் ஆண்டு இவ்விழாவை அனைத்துலக திருச்சபையும் கொண்டாட வழிவகை செய்தார். அவர் இவ்விழாவை மரியாளின் ஏழு வியாகுலங்களின் விழா என்றழைத்தார். தொடக்கத்தில் இந்நாளானது, குருத்து ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமைக்கு முந்தைய வெள்ளிக்கிழமையன்று நினைவுகூறப்பட்டது. ஏனெனில் மரியாளின் துயரங்கள், கன்னிமரியாளிடம் பிறந்த கிறிஸ்துவின் பாடுகளோடு கொண்டிருந்த நெருங்கிய தொடர்பினால் இவ்விழா புனித வாரத்திற்கு முன் கொண்டாடுவது முறையெனக் கருதப்பட்டது. திருத்தந்தை பத்தாம் பயஸ் இத்திருவிழாவை செப்டம்பர் 15 ம் நாள் கொண்டாடும்படி செய்தார். இவ்வாறு மாற்றியமைக்கப்பட்ட நாளும் மிகவும் பொருத்தமாய் இருந்தது....
