“என்னைத் தயக்கமின்றி ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோர் பேறுபெற்றோர்” என்று இயேசு கூறுகிறார்? இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கு எது தடையாக இருக்கிறது? நாம் இயேசுவிடத்தில் செல்வதற்கு என்ன தயக்கம்? இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வது எளிதானது போல தோன்றினாலும், அது சவால்கள் நிறைந்த பாதையாக இருக்கிறது. அதுதான் இங்கே தடையாக, தயக்கமாக இயேசுவால் சுட்டிக்காட்டப்படுகிறது. இன்றைக்கு இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கு நம்முடைய பதவி, நாம் பெற்றிருக்கிற பட்டங்கள், நாம் சேர்த்து வைத்திருக்கிற செல்வங்கள் தடையாக இருக்கிறது. ஏனென்றால், நாம் இயேசுவின் மீது நாட்டம் வைத்திருப்பதை விட, மேற்சொன்னவைகள் மீதுதான் அதிக நாட்டம் வைத்திருக்கிறோம். அதுதான் நமக்கு பெரியதாகத் தோன்றுகிறது. இப்படிப்பட்ட எண்ணங்களை மாற்றுவது என்பது எளிதானது அல்ல. ஏனென்றால், நாம் வாழக்கூடிய இந்த உலகமும் இதுபோன்ற சிந்தனைகளை நமக்குத் தந்துகொண்டே இருக்கிறது. நாம் இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கு இவையெல்லாம் தடையாக இருக்கிறதா? தடையாக இருந்திருக்கிறதா? என்று சிந்திப்போம். எந்நாளும் நாமும் இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றி வாழ்வதற்கு, கடவுளின் அருள் வேண்டி மன்றாடுவோம். ~ அருட்பணி....

கி.மு. 600 ஆம் ஆண்டையொட்டி யூதா நாட்டில் வாழ்ந்த இறைவாக்கினர்தான் அபக்கூக்கு. வடக்கிலிருந்து பாபிலோனியர்கள் படையெடுத்து வந்து தாக்கும் ஆபத்து எப்போதும் சூழ்ந்திருந்தது. யூதாவிலோ நாட்டின் ஒற்றுமையும், நீதியும் குலைந்து, வலியோர் எளியோரை ஒடுக்கிக்கொண்டிருந்தனர். இத்தகைய சூழலில்தான் அபக்கூக்கு இறைவாக்குப் பணியில் ஈடுபடுகிறார். கயவர்களை ஏன் இறைவன் தண்டிக்காமல் விட்டுவைக்கிறார்? பொல்லாதவர்கள் நேர்மையாளர்களை விழுங்கும்போது இறைவன் ஏன் மௌனமாய் இருக்கிறார்? என்னும் கேள்விகளை அபக்கூக்கு எழுப்பி, அவற்றுக்கு விடை காண முயல்கிறார். பன்னெடுங்காலமாக மானிட இனத்தைத் தட்டி எழுப்பும் கேள்வி அல்லவா இது! ஏன் இந்த உலகில் தீமை? ஏன் தீயவர்கள் தழைக்கிறார்கள், நல்லவர்கள் துன்புறுகிறார்கள்? இக்கேள்விக்கு விடை காண முயலும் இறைவாக்கினருக்கு ஆண்டவர் தரும் பதில்: நம்பிக்கையோடிருங்கள். எனவேதான், மிகப் பிரபலமான இந்த வார்த்தைகளோடு இன்றைய முதல் வாசகம் நிறைவுக்கு வருகிறது: “நேர்மையுடையவரோ தம் நம்பிக்கையினால் வாழ்வடைவர்”. மன்றாடுவோம்: நம்பிக்கையின் நாயகனே இறைவா, உம்மைப் போற்றுகிறோம். நேர்மையுடையவர்கள் தம் நம்பிக்கையினால்...
