இந்த நற்செய்திப்பகுதி(+யோவான் எழுதிய நற்செய்தியிலிருந்து வாசகம் 17: 20-26) நமக்கெல்லாம் மிக முக்கியமான பகுதி. காரணம், இயேசு நமக்காகச் செபிக்கிறார். இயேசுவின் செபம் என்ன? நாமெல்லாம் ஒன்றாய் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதுதான். எப்படி ஒன்றாய் இருக்க வேண்டும்? நாமெல்லாம் ஒன்றாய் இருப்பது சாத்தியமா? நமக்குள்ளே பல அடிப்படை வேறுபாடுகள் இருப்பதை நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். புரிதலில், வாழ்க்கைமுறையில், பண்பாட்டில், வழிபாட்டு முறையில் என பல வேறுபாடுகள் நம் மத்தியில் இருக்கிறது. இத்தகைய வேறுபாடுகள் நமக்குள்ளாக பல பிரிவினைகளையும் ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. பிரிவினைகளாக இருப்பவை எப்படி நம்மை ஒன்றுபடுத்த முடியும்? இயேசு நம்மை அன்பால் ஒன்றுபட செபிக்கிறார். நமக்குள் இருக்கக்கூடிய வேறுபாடுகளை அவர் அறியாதவர் அல்ல. அந்த வேறுபாடுகள் ஒருவர் மற்றவர் மீதுள்ள அன்பை, மதிப்பைக் கூட்ட வேண்டுமே தவிர, குறைக்கக்கூடாது. கடவுளை நாம் அன்பு செய்தால், கடவுள் மீது நாம் நம்பிக்கை வைத்தால், கடவுளை நமது தந்தையாக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டால், ஒருபோதும் நமக்குள்ளாக இருக்கக்கூடிய...

ஒவ்வொருநாளும் நாம் உணவு உண்கிறோம். அந்த உணவு தான் நாம் இயங்குவதற்கு, செயல்களைச் செய்வதற்கு ஆற்றலைத்தருகிறது. ஒரு வாகனம் இயங்க வேண்டுமென்றால், அதில் இருக்கிற எரிபொருள் எரிக்கப்பட்டு, அதிலிருந்து பெறப்படும் ஆற்றலால் வாகனம் இயங்குகிறது. ஆக, ஆற்றல் என்பது நம்மை இயக்குவதாக அமைகிறது. அது உணவாக இருக்கலாம், எரிபொருளாக இருக்கலாம். எல்லாமே இயக்கத்திற்கான அடிப்படைக் காரணமாக இருக்கிறது. இங்கே, ஆண்டவர் ஆசிரியரின் ஆற்றலாக இருக்கிறார் என்பதையும், ஆண்டவர் நம் ஆற்றலாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்கிற செய்தியும் சொல்லப்படுகிறது. ஆண்டவர் எப்படி ஒருவரின் ஆற்றலாக இருக்க முடியும்? இந்த உலகத்தில் அநீதி ஏராளமாக நடக்கிறது. அந்த அநீதியை பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, சமரசம் செய்யக்கூடியவர்களாகத்தான் இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால், ஒரு சிலர் அதனை எதிர்க்கிறார்கள். தங்களால் இயன்ற மட்டும் எதிர்க்கிறார்கள். அதனால் பலவிதமான எதிர்ப்பையும் நம்பாதிக்கிறார்கள். ஒரு கட்டத்தில் அவர்கள் சோர்ந்து போய் விடுகிறார்கள். எதற்காக நாம் மட்டும் இப்படி வாழ வேண்டும்? என்கிற...
