நெருப்பு பல விதங்களில் நமக்குப் பயன்படுகிறது. உணவு சமைப்பதற்கு நெருப்பு உதவுகிறது. குளிர் காலத்தில் நெருப்பின் அருகே அமர்ந்து குளிர்காய்வது இதமான அனுபவம். அழுக்குகளைச் சுட்டெரித்து அழிப்பதற்கும் நெருப்பு பயன்படுகிறது. அதே நேரத்தில் நெருப்பு அழிவுக்கும் காரணமாகலாம். கலவரங்கள் ஏற்படும்போது வீடுகளுக்கும் ஊர்களுக்கும் தீவைத்து அழிக்கின்ற செயல்கள் இப்போதும் நடந்துவருவது ஒரு கசப்பான அனுபவம். இயற்கையாகவோ மனிதரின் கவனக்குறைவாலோ காடுகளில் தீ எரிந்து பெரும் அழிவு ஏற்படுவதும் உண்டு. இவ்வாறு ஆக்கவும் அழிக்கவும் பயன்படுகின்ற தீயை மூட்டிவிட இயேசு வந்தார் என்றால் அதை நாம் எப்படிப் புரிந்துகொள்வது? இயேசுவின் உள்ளத்தில் ஒரு தீ எரிந்துகொண்டிருந்தது. அதுதான் கடவுள் தம்மிடம் ஒப்படைத்த பணியை முழுமையாக நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும் என்னும் தணியாத ஆர்வம். இந்த ஆர்வத்தால் உந்தப்பட்ட இயேசு இவ்வுலகத்தில் மனித உள்ளங்களில் ஒரு தீயை மூட்டிட வந்தார். கடவுளின் ஆட்சியை இவ்வுலகில் கொணரவேண்டும் என்னும் ஆர்வம்தான் இயேசுவின் போதனைக்கும் செயல்பாட்டுக்கும் உந்துசக்தியாக அமைந்தது....

வாழ்வு என்னும் கொடை

அறிவுள்ள, அறிவற்ற பணியாளர்களைப்பற்றி இயேசு இங்கே பேசுகிறார். மத்திய கிழக்குப் பகுதிகளில் வீட்டுப்பொறுப்பாளர் எனக்கூறப்படுபவரும் அடிமைதான். அவருடைய பொறுப்பு மற்ற அடிமைகளைப் பொறுப்பாக, அவரவர்க்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிற பணியைச்செய்யச் சொல்வது. தலைவருடைய நம்பிக்கைக்கு உரியவர் என்றால், இன்னும் அதிகப்பொறுப்பை தலைவர் அவருக்குக் கொடுப்பார். அறிவற்ற பணியாளரின் நெறியில்லாத இரண்டு தவறுகளை இயேசு சுட்டிக்காட்டுகிறார். 1. தனது பொறுப்பை தவறாகப்பயன்படுத்துவது. தலைவர் அவரைத் தனது வீட்டின் பொறுப்பாளராக ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார் என்றால், அதற்கு காரணம், இந்த அடிமை தலைவருடைய மதிப்பைப் பெற்ற அடிமை. எனவேதான், தலைவர் அவரை பொறுப்பாளராக ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார். ஆனால், இந்தப்பொறுப்பாளரின் வாழ்வை சற்று ஆழமாகச்சிந்தித்துப்பார்த்தால், அவர் தலைவரின் நன்மதிப்பைப்பெற நடித்திருக்கிறார். வீட்டுப்பொறுப்பாளராக மாற வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக, தலைவர் முன்னிலையில் தன்னை நல்லவராக காட்டி வந்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால், நேர்மையற்றவர்களின் சாயம் என்றாவது ஒருநாள் கண்டிப்பாக வெளுத்துவிடும் என்பதற்கு இவர் சிறந்த எடுத்துக்காட்டு. 2. தலைவரின் எதிர்பார்ப்பை நிறைவேற்றாத சோம்பல்தன்மை. தலைவர் இவ்வளவு பெரிய பொறுப்பைக்கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்...
