வாழ்வை மாற்றாத வழிபாடுகள்

மதம் என்பது இயேசுவைப் பொறுத்தவரையில் கடவுளையும், மனிதர்களையும் அன்பு செய்வதாகும். கடவுளை அன்பு செய்ய வேண்டுமென்றால், அதற்கான எளிதான வழி, சக மனிதர்களை அன்பு செய்வது. இங்கே அன்புதான் அனைத்திற்கும் ஆதாரமாக இருக்கிறது. மறைநூல் அறிஞர்களும், அன்பு என்கிற இந்த மதிப்பீட்டை முழுமையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்கின்றனர். 1சாமுவேல் 15: 22 சொல்கிறது: ”ஆண்டவருக்கு மகிழ்ச்சி தருவது எரிபலிகள், பிறபலிகள் செலுத்துவதா? அவரது குரலுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதா? கீழ்ப்படிதல் எரிபலியை விட சிறந்தது, கீழ்ப்படிதல் ஆட்டுக்கிடாய்களின் கொழுப்பை விட மேலானது”. ஓசேயா 6: 6 ”உண்மையாகவே நான் விரும்புவது பலியை அல்ல, இரக்கத்தையே விரும்புகின்றேன்”. ஆனால், நமது வாழ்க்கையில் வழிபாடுகளும், பக்திமுயற்சிகளும் தான் அதிகமாக இருக்கிறதே தவிர, அது காட்டும் நெறிமுறைகளை யாரும் பின்பற்றுவதும் கிடையாது. அதைப்பற்றிய கவலையும் கிடையாது. அன்பு இருக்க வேண்டிய இடத்தில் நாம் வெறும் பக்திமுயற்சிகளை வைத்திருக்கிறோம். வாழ்வு மாற்ற வேண்டிய வழிபாடுகள், வெறும் சடங்கு, சம்பிரதாயங்களாக நின்றுவிடுகிறது. உண்மையான மாற்றத்தை...
