திருப்பாடல் 103: 1 – 2, 11 – 12, 19 – 20 ”குற்றங்களை நம்மிடமிருந்து அகற்றுகிறார்” மனிதர்கள் பலவீனர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள். அந்த பலவீனம் தான், தான் தவறு செய்வதை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவும், அடுத்தவர் தவறு செய்வதைக் கண்டு மனம் புழுங்கவும் செய்கிறது. ஆனால், கடவுள் பலமுள்ளவர். அவர் எந்நாளும் நம்மை மன்னிக்கிறவராக இருக்கிறார் என்பதை, இன்றைய திருப்பாடல் வரிகள் நமக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது. கடவுள் பலமுள்ளவராக இருப்பதனால் தான், நாம் எவ்வளவு தவறு செய்தாலும், அதனைப் பொறுத்து, நம்முடைய குற்றங்களை மன்னித்து, நமக்கு விடுதலையை வழங்குகிறவராக இருக்கிறார். கடவுளின் கருணையை, மன்னிக்கும் பேரன்பை உருவகம் மூலமாக ஆசிரியர் நமக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறார். கிழக்கும், மேற்கும் திசைகளைக் குறிக்கக்கூடியதாக இருக்கிறது. இரண்டும் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று நேர் எதிரானவை. கிழக்கு நோக்கிச் சென்றால், நாம் மேற்குத்திசையை கற்பனை செய்து பார்க்க முடியாது. இரண்டும் வெவ்வேறு துருவங்களைச் சார்ந்தவை. இரண்டும் சேருவது முடியாத காரியம். அதேபோலத்தான் கடவுள் நம்முடைய...
