At times, he asks a question to elicit a response of faith (see Lk 18:41). Sometimes, he asks a question as the grand finale to a teaching (see Mt 21:31, 42). At other times, he asks a question which He knows that no one will answer, simply to drive home...

மாற்கு 11: 27-33 ஒரு அருமையான பொன்வரி இப்படி ஆரம்பமாகிறது, ”தூக்கி எறிபவர்களுக்கு நன்றி சொல்லுங்கள். ஏனெனில் அவர்களே உங்களை முளைக்கவைப்பர்கள்”. நம்முடைய மனது நம்மை தூக்கி எறிபவர்களை தூரே வைக்க வேண்டும் என துடியாய்த் துடிக்கிறது. அவர்களை விரோதியாய் பார்க்கிறது. பகைமையை போகும் இடமெல்லாம் வளர்க்கிறது. இதனால் பல பகைவர்கள் நம் வாழ்க்கையின் வட்டத்திற்குள் வருகிறார்கள். இதனால் வாழ்க்கையின் வசந்தக்காற்று நம் பக்கம் வீசாமலேயே போகிறது. இப்படி வாழ்க்கையை களிக்கிற நமக்கு இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகத்தில் கனிவான பாடத்தை புகட்டுகிறார் நம் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு. தலைமைக்குருக்கள், மறைநூல் அறிஞர்கள், மூப்பர்கள் ஆகியோர் இயேசுவை தங்கள் அதிகாரத்தால் விரோதியாக பார்த்தனர். பல தொல்லைகளை கொடுத்துக்கொண்டே இருந்தனர். விரோதியாய் பார்த்து வாழ்கையை அனுபவிக்காமலேயே இந்த உலகத்தை விட்டு காணாமல் போய்விட்டனர். ஆனால் இயேசு விரோதியாய் வந்தவர்களை தன் கனிவால் உருக வைத்தார். தன் அன்புக் கலந்த அதிகாரத்தால் தன் ஊழியர் ஆக்கினார். தூக்கி...

“When you stand to pray…” —Mark 11:25 As the Blessed Virgin Mary and the early Church prayed in the upper room before the first Christian Pentecost (Acts 1:13ff), let us pray for the coming of the Kingdom of God as soon as possible to as many people and nations as possible. Jesus remarked that there is “the necessity of praying always and not losing heart” (Lk 18:1). Therefore, pray for the grace to pray. Pray for the grace to keep praying. மாற்கு 11: 11-26 வாழ்க்கையில் எல்லா மனிதர்களும் எல்லா நாட்களையும் பலன்தரும் வகையில் வாழ்வதில்லை. பல நாட்கள் வீணான நாட்களாகவே கடந்து போகின்றன. வீணான நாட்கள் அனைத்தும் குற்றயுணர்வை நமக்குள்ளே ஏற்படுத்தி நம்மை குத்துகின்றன. வீணான நாட்கள் அனைத்தும் நம்மை பார்த்து முறைத்துப் பாத்ததுண்டு. ஏன் இப்படி வீணாக்கிவிட்டாய் என்று. எல்லா நாட்களையும் பலன் கொடுக்கும் வகையில் வாழ வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை அனைவருக்கும் உண்டு. அந்த நம் ஆசை இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகத்திலே அடங்கிப்போகிறது. இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகத்தில் நம் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு ”நீங்கள் இறைவனிம் வேண்டும்போது எவற்றையெல்லாம் கேட்பீர்களோ அவற்றைப் பெற்றுவிட்டீர்கள் என நம்புங்கள், நீங்கள் கேட்டபடியே நடக்கும்(மத்11:24) என்கிறார். நாம் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் இறைவனை நோக்கி ஜெபித்து விட்டு நாளைத் தொடங்குகிற போது அந்த நாள் பலன்தரும் நாளாகவும் குற்றயுணா்வை போக்குகிற நாளாகவும் நம் குறிக்கோளை விரட்டி பிடிக்கிற நாளாகவும் அமைகிறது. ஆசையை ஜெபிப்பதில் காட்டுவோம். ஆர்வத்தை...
