மாற்கு 8:27-35 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! பொதுக்காலம் 24ம் ஞாயிறு வழிபாட்டைக் கொண்டாட வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் துன்பம் வரும் நேரத்தில் கலங்காதிருக்க வேண்டும். துன்பமே வராத வாழ்வு என ஒன்றில்லை. துன்பத் தருணங்களில் அமைதியோடு, வந்த துன்பத்தை எதிர்கொண்டால், வாழ்வை எளிதாக வென்றுவிடலாம் எனவும் துன்பத்திற்கே துன்பம் கொடுத்து அதை விரட்டும் விறுவிறுப்பான வழிமுறைகளையும் சொல்லித் தருகிறது பொதுக்காலம் 24ம் ஞாயிறு. துன்பம் வரும் நேரத்தில் நாம் எப்படி நடக்க வேண்டும். எப்படி நம் செயல்பாடு அமைய வேண்டும் என்பதை நாம் மூன்று விதங்களில் பார்க்கலாம். 1. துரத்த கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள் விவேகானந்தர் வாழ்வில் ஒரு சம்பவம். காசியில் ஒரு குறுகலான சந்து வழியாக நடந்து சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தார் அவர். திடீரென அவரைப் பத்துப் பதினைந்து குரங்குகள்...

“Near the cross of Jesus there stood His mother.” –John 19:25 The cross, because it was an instrument for executing criminals, is naturally repulsive to us.
