“Slaves, obey your human masters with the reverence, the awe, and the sincerity you owe to Christ.” –Ephesians 6:5 Everyone should submit to each other (Eph 5:21). Wives should submit to husbands (Eph 5:22), children to parents (Eph 6:1), and employees to employers (Eph 6:5). Those in authority should submit to the Lord (see Eph 6:4, 9). The Lord wants to create an entire culture of submission. If we accept God’s call to be submissive in circumstance after circumstance, we will open ourselves to being filled with the Spirit. லூக்கா 13:22-30 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். நம்பிக்கையின் மறைபொருள்: இயேசு இறந்தார், உயிர்த்தார், மீண்டும் வருவார் என்பதை நாம் அனுதினமும் திருப்பலியில் உரக்க அறிக்கையிடுகிறோம். அதற்கு இன்னும் அதிக ஆதாரம் தருவதாய் வருகிறது இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகம். நாம் அனைவரும் ஆர்வமாய் எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் இயேசுவின் இரண்டாம் வருகை என்பது கண்டிப்பாக உண்டு என்கிறது. இயேசுவின் இரண்டாம் வருகை நிகழ்வதற்குள் நாம் ஒருசில தயாரிப்புக்களையும் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்கிறது இன்றைய வழிபாடு. அவற்றுள் இரண்டு தயாரிப்புக்கள் தலையாயது. 1. ஒரே கூட்டம் நாம் ஒரே கூட்டத்தை சார்ந்தவர்கள் என்பதை நிரூபிக்க வேண்டும். கிறிஸ்துவைப் பின்பற்றுகிற ஒரே கூட்டம் என்பது மிகவும் தெளிவாக தெரிய வேண்டும். ஆகவே இப்போது...

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church. He gave Himself up for her.” –Ephesians 5:25 Our modern culture chokes on the opening of today’s first reading, “Wives should be submissive to their husbands” (Eph 5:22). Yet that is not the most radical sentence of this passage. St. Paul’s call for husbands to love their wives, in the same way as Jesus loves the Church, is an extraordinarily radical challenge, both for the culture of Paul’s time, and for every age since. லூக்கா 13:18-21 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். சிறியவர்களை நாம் ஒருபோதும் மட்டம் தட்டக்கூடாது. மிகவும் அன்பாக நடத்த வேண்டும். அவர்களின் ஆற்றலைக் கண்டு பாராட்ட வேண்டும். ஏனெனில் அவர்களுக்குள் ஒளிந்திருக்கும் ஆற்றல் முகம்மேல் விரல் வைக்கும் அளவுக்கு ஆச்சரியமானது. எடுத்துக்காட்டாக உலகத்திலேயே முதல் என்ஜினியர் தூக்கணாங்குருவி தான். தூக்கணங்குருவி உருவத்தில் சிறியது அதன் சிறப்பம்சம் மிகவும் பெரியது. அதே போன்று இன்றைய நற்செய்தியில் முதலில் வருகின்ற கடுகு உருவத்தில் சிறியது ஆனால் அதன் ஆற்றல் அகன்றது. இரண்டாவது வருகின்ற சிறிதளவு புளிப்பு மாவின் மறைந்திருந்து வெளிப்படுத்தும் ஆற்றல் அபாரமானது. ஆகவே சிறியவர்களை சிறப்பாக்க இந்த நாள் வழிபாடு நமக்கு உதவி செய்ய வந்திருக்கிறது. மிகவும் ஆர்வமுடன்...
