The Lord is always teaching us to be humble – from His birth in Bethlehem to His death on the cross, and from His Incarnation to the Eucharist. லூக்கா 14:15-24 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். கடவுள் நாம் புனிதத்தில் வளர நமக்கு அனுதினமும் அழைப்பிதழ் கொடுக்கிறார். அவரோடு நாம் நெருங்கி வர வேண்டும் என்பதே அந்த அழைப்பிதழின் நோக்கம். யார் அழைப்பிதழை ஏற்று அவருடன் நெருங்கி வாழ்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களான மகிழ்ச்சி, மனநிறைவு, சமாதானம், நல்ல ஆரோக்கியம் இவையனைத்தையும் இறைவன் இலவசமாக வழங்குகிறார். யார் அழைப்பிதழை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள தயக்கம் காட்டுகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தடுமாறுகிறார்கள். இரண்டு விதங்களில் தடுமாற்றம் நிகழ்கிறது. 1. இலக்கில் தடுமாற்றம் கடவுளின் அழைப்பை ஏற்காதவர் வாழ்க்கையானது இலக்கே இல்லாமல் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் துவங்கும். குடிகாரன் போன்று தடுமாறுவர். எதையும் குறிப்பிடும் வகையில் இவர்கள் சாதிப்பதில்லை. தோல்வி ஒன்றன்பின் ஒன்றாக வரிசையாக...
