திருப்பாடல் 99: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 தூயவர் என்கிற வார்த்தையை நாம் கடவுளுக்கு மட்டும் தான் பயன்படுத்த முடியும். ஏனெனில் கடவுள் மட்டும் தான், தூய்மையின் வடிவமாக இருக்கிறார். எபிரேய மொழியில், ஒரு வார்த்தையின் நிறைவைக் குறிப்பதற்கு மூன்றுமுறை அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து பயன்படுத்துகிறார்கள். எனவே தான், பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில், ”தூயவர், தூயவர், தூயவர்” என்று மூன்றுமுறை இந்த வார்த்தை தொடர்ச்சியாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. இது கடவுள் எந்த அளவுக்கு தூய்மையின் நிறைவாக விளங்குகிறார் என்பதை நமக்குக் குறித்துக் காட்டுவதாக அமைந்திருக்கிறது. கடவுள் தூயவராக இருப்பதால், கடவுளுக்குப் பணிசெய்வதற்கென்றே தூய குருத்துவத்தை அவர் ஏற்படுத்துகிறார். மோசேயும், ஆரோனும் அவர் தம் குருக்கள் என்று இந்த திருப்பாடல் சொல்கிறது. அவர்கள் தூய வாழ்வு வாழ அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள். அவர்கள் மட்டும் தான் தூய வாழ்வு வாழ வேண்டுமா? இல்லை. நாம் அனைவருமே தூய வாழ்வு வாழ அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். ஆனால், சிறப்பாக, கடவுளின் பணிக்காக தங்களையே...
