நேர்மையில் நிலைத்திருந்து ஆண்டவரின் முகம் காண்பேன்

திருப்பாடல் 17: 1, 2 – 3, 6 – 7, 8, 15 தன்னுடைய எதிரிகளின் சூழ்ச்சிகளாலும், தொடர் தேடுதல் வேட்டையினாலும் பெருத்த மன உளைச்சலுக்கும், விரக்திக்கும் ஆளாகியிருக்கிறார் தாவீது மன்னர். எங்கே தப்பிச்சென்றாலும், நிழல் போல தன்னுடைய எதிரிகள் தன்னை பின்தொடர்வதைக் கண்டு, மனம் வெதும்புகிறார். வேதனையின் உச்சத்திற்கே செல்கிறார். சாதாரண மனிதனாக, தன்னால் வாழ முடியவில்லையே என்று வேதனைப்படுகிறார். விரக்தியின் விளிம்பில் அவர் கடவுளை நோக்கி கூக்குரலிடுகிறார். இறைவனுடைய பாதுகாப்பிற்காகவும், புகலிடத்திற்காகவும் வேண்டப்படுகின்ற பாடலாக இது அமைந்திருக்கிறது. கடவுளிடம் தன்னுடை விண்ணப்பத்தை எடுத்துரைக்கிறபோது, தன்னுடைய நேர்மைத்தனத்தை அவர் விவரிக்கிறார். இவ்வளவு சூழ்ச்சிகள், வேதனை, நெருக்கடி, துன்பங்களுக்கு நடுவிலும், தான் கொண்டிருக்கிற நேர்மைத்தனத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்கும்படியாக ஆண்டவரிடத்தில் மன்றாடுகிறார். நேர்மையாக வாழ்ந்ததற்கு பரிசு கிடைக்கவில்லையே என்று தாவீது மனம் வெதும்பவில்லை. அழுது புலம்பவில்லை. இறைவனிடத்தில் முறையிடவில்லை. மாறாக, தன்னுடை நேர்தை்தனத்தில் தொடர்ந்து வளர, உறுதியாக இருக்க வேண்டுகிறார். தன்னுடைய எதிரிகளிடமிருந்து...

திருப்பாடல் 91: 1 – 2, 3 – 4, 14 – 15 இறைவன் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறவர்களுக்கு இறைவன் எப்படியெல்லாம் பாதுகாப்பாக இருப்பார் என்பதை, இந்த திருப்பாடல் நமக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறுகிறது. இங்கே இறைவனே பேசுவதாக, திருப்பாடல் ஆசிரியர் எழுதியிருக்கிறார். இறைவன் என்ன பேசுகிறார்? தன்னை அன்பு செய்கிறவர்களுக்கு தான் எப்போதும் உறுதுணையாக இருப்பேன் என்பதுதான், இறைவனுடைய கூற்றாக இருக்கிறது. இறைவன் தன்னை முழுமையாக நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கும், தன்னை நோக்கி மன்றாடுகிறவர்களுக்கும் எப்படியெல்லாம் உதவி செய்யப்போகிறார் என்பதை, இந்த திருப்பாடல் நமக்கு விளக்கமாகக் கூறுகிறது. அதைத்தான் இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகமும் நமக்கு அறிவிக்கிறது. இயேசு தொழுகைக்கூடத்தலைவரின் மகளையும், பல ஆண்டுகளாய் இரத்தப்போக்கினால் அவதியுற்ற பெண்ணையும், அவர்கள் கொண்டிருந்த நம்பிக்கையின் மிகுதியினால் காப்பாற்றினார் என்பது, இங்கே நமக்கு தெளிவாக விளக்கப்படுகிறது. ஆக, கடவுளை நம்பினோர் எப்போதுமே கைவிடப்பட மாட்டார்கள் என்பது, இங்கே தெளிவாகிறது. நம்முடைய வாழ்வில் நாம் எப்போதும் கடவுளை தேடுகிறவர்களாக...
