அதிகாரமும், அடிமைத்தனமும்

பொறுப்புணர்வு என்பது நமது வாழ்க்கையில் நாம் கடைப்பிடிக்க வேண்டிய ஓர் உன்னதமான பண்பு. இன்றைய உலகில் பொறுப்புணர்வோடு செயல்பட வேண்டியவர்கள், பொறுப்பற்று இருப்பதால் தான், பல பிரச்சனைகள் தோன்ற ஆரம்பிக்கிறது. அதிகாரத்திற்கு ஆசைப்படுகிற எல்லாரும், அதிகாரம் கிடைத்தபிறகு, அதனை பொறுப்பற்ற நிலையில் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர். தங்களுக்கு சார்பான காரியங்களைச் செய்து, எப்படி இலாபம் ஈட்டலாம் என்றுதான் நினைக்கின்றனர். இதிலிருந்து நாம் விடுதலை பெறுவதற்கு, இன்றைய வாசகம் நமக்கு அழைப்புவிடுக்கிறது. செல்வந்தர் ஒருவரின் வீட்டுப்பொறுப்பாளரைப் பற்றிய உவமை நமக்குத் தரப்படுகிறது. தன்னுடைய உடைமைகளைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ள தலைவர் ஒருவரைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தால், நிச்சயம் அவர் நல்லவரா? நேர்மையானவரா? பொறுப்புள்ளவரா? எனப்பார்த்துதான், தேர்ந்தெடுத்திருப்பார். வீட்டுப்பொறுப்பாளராக தேர்ந்தெடுககப்பட்டவர், அதற்கான தொடக்கத்தில் தகுதியைப்பெற்றிருக்கிறதனால், தலைவர் அவரை, பொறுப்பாளராக நியமித்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால், தொடக்கத்தில் இருந்த அந்த நல்ல பண்புகள் அதிகாரம் வந்தவுடன் மாறிவிடுகிறது. பணத்தின் மீது மோகம் ஏற்படுகிறது. விளைவு, அவரிடத்தில் குடிகொண்டிருந்த நல்ல பண்புகள் வெளியேறிவிடுகிறது. அவர் பொறுப்பற்ற மனிதராக மாறிவிடுகிறார்....

திருப்பாடல் 19: 1 – 2, 3 – 4 கடவுளின் மாட்சிமையை, மேன்மையை இயற்கை எப்படியெல்லாம் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது என்பதை, இந்த திருப்பாடல் சுட்டிக்காட்டுகிறது. படைப்பை நாம் உன்னிப்பாக கவனிக்கிறபோது, பலவற்றை இந்த படைப்புகளிலிருந்து நாம் கற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம். அதற்கு ஒரு மதிப்பு இருக்கிறது. அது ஒழுங்கைக் கடைப்பிடிக்கிறது. இப்படித்தான் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று, கடவுளால் படைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தால், அது எல்லா நாட்களிலும், எல்லா காலங்களிலும் அப்படித்தான் இயங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இரவிற்கு பின் பகல் என்பது கடவுள் வகுத்த நியதி. இன்று வரை, அதில் மாற்றம் இல்லை. படைப்பு என்றால், இப்படித்தான் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்கு இயற்கை ஒரு சிறந்த எடுத்துக்காட்டு. மனிதனும் கடவுளின் படைப்பு தான். ஆனால், மனிதன் மட்டும் ஏன் இப்படி இருக்கிறான்? என்பதுதான் ஆசிரியரின் ஆதங்கமாக இருக்கிறது. மனிதன் இப்படித்தான் இருக்க வேண்டும், இப்படித்தான் இயங்க வேண்டும் என்று கடவுள் எல்லையை வகுத்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால், மனிதன் அப்படி இல்லை. அதனை கடந்து...
