அடுத்தவர்கள் மீது சுமைகளைச் சுமத்துகிற மனிதர்கள் இந்த உலகில் ஏராளம். தாங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டிய வேலைகளை, சோம்பேறித்தனத்தின் பொருட்டு செய்யாமல், அடுத்தவர்களை ஏவுகிற வேலையைச் செய்கிறவர்களை நாம், அன்றாட உலகில் பார்க்கலாம். அத்தகைய மனிதர்களைப் பற்றித்தான் இன்றைய நற்செய்தியும் பேசுகிறது. திருச்சட்ட அறிஞர்களைப்பார்த்து இயேசு இத்தகைய வார்த்தைகளைப் பயன்படுத்துகிறார். திருச்சட்ட அறிஞர்கள் சட்டத்திற்கு விளக்கம் கொடுக்கிறவர்கள். அவர்கள் மக்களுக்கு சட்டங்களை விளக்கிக்கூறுகிறவர்கள். எதையெல்லாம் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும்? எதையெல்லாம் பின்பற்றக்கூடாது? என்று, மக்களுக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகிறவர்கள். மக்களுக்கு சட்டங்களைப் பின்பற்றச் சொல்கிற இவர்கள், தாங்கள் சொல்பவற்றை ஒருபோதும் பின்பற்றுவது கிடையாது. ஆனால், மக்கள் பின்பற்றவில்லை என்றால், அதற்கான தண்டனையைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டி, அவர்களின் மீது, தாங்க முடியாத சுமைகளைச் சுமத்திக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். தாங்களோ, சட்டங்களை மதிப்பதை ஒரு பொருட்டாக எண்ணியது இல்லை. இந்த வழக்கத்தை இயேசு எதிர்க்கிறார். கண்டிக்கிறார். நமது வாழ்விலும் கூட, மற்றவர்களுக்கு பலவற்றைப் போதிக்கிற நாம், அவர்களை இறைவன்பால் கட்டியெழுப்புவதற்கு பல திட்டங்களைத் தீட்டக்கூடிய...
