செயலில் வெளிப்படும் விசுவாசம்

பாலஸ்தீனத்தில் இருக்கக்கூடிய வீடுகள் எப்போதும் திறந்தவண்ணமாய் இருக்கும். அதற்கு காரணம், உபசரிப்பு. யாரும் எந்த வேளையிலும் வீட்டிற்குள் வரலாம் என்பதன் பொருள். பயணிகள், வழிதவறி வருகிறவர்கள் யாராக இருந்தாலும், அவர்களை வரவேற்று உபசரிப்பது, யூதர்களின் வழக்கம். எளிமையான வீடுகளில் உபசரிப்பு அறை என்று தனியே எந்தவொரு அறையும் கிடையாது. கதவைத்திறந்தால் தெரு முழுவதும் தெரியும். அத்தகைய எளிமையான வீட்டில் இயேசு இருந்ததால், உள்ளே யாரும் செல்ல முடியாத அளவுக்கு, கூட்டம் அதிகமாக இருந்தது. பாலஸ்தீன வீடுகளில் மேற்கூரை பொதுவானது. மேலே இருந்து இறங்குவதற்கு வசதியாக படிக்கட்டுக்களும் இருக்கும். இயேசு அவர்களைப்பார்த்த மட்டில் ஒன்றுமே கேட்கவில்லை. அவர்களின் விசுவாசத்தை உடனடியாகப் புரிந்து கொள்கிறார். அவர்களின் செயல் விசுவாசத்தைப்பறைசாற்றுவதாக அமைந்திருக்கிறது. உடனடியாக அவனுக்கு சுகம் கொடுக்கிறார். விசுவாசம் என்பது பலவிதங்களில் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். அவற்றில் ஒன்று செயல் வழியாக வெளிப்படுத்துவது என்பதை இந்த நற்செய்தி நமக்குச் சொல்கிறது. நமது வாழ்வில், நமது செயல்பாடுகள் விசுவாசத்தை...
