”கடவுள் ஏன் இப்படி தொடர்ந்து எனக்கு சோதனைகளை தந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்?” என்று நம்மில் பலபேர் புலம்புவதைக் கேட்டிருப்போம். அடுக்கடுக்காக அவர்கள் வாழ்வில் சந்தித்த துன்பங்களின் பாரம் தாங்காமல், அவர்கள் சொல்லக்கூடிய வார்த்தைகள் தான் இவை. ஆனால், இயேசுவின் வாழ்வை நாம் சற்று சிந்தித்துப்பார்த்தால், அவரது மூன்றாண்டு பணிவாழ்வின் ஆழத்தை நாம் பார்த்தால், ஒரு மனிதன் இவ்வளவு துன்பங்கள், சவால்களுக்கும் மத்தியில் நேர்மையாக, உண்மையாக, கொண்ட கடமையில் கண்ணும் கருத்துமாக வாழ முடியுமா? என்று நாம் ஆச்சரியப்படுவோம். அந்த அளவுக்கு இயேசு ஒரு நிறைவாழ்வை வாழ்ந்திருக்கிறார். இன்றைய நற்செய்தியில் இயேசு தீய ஆவி பிடித்திருந்த மனிதனை எதிர்கொள்கிறார். இதற்கு முந்தைய பகுதியில் பார்த்தோம் என்றால், கடலின் சீற்றத்திலிருந்து தனது சீடர்களை பாதுகாப்பாக கரைசேர்த்திருக்கிறார். அதிலிருந்து நிலத்திற்கு வந்தவுடன் தீய ஆவியை எதிர்கொள்கிறார். ஒரு பக்கத்தில் சதுசேயர், பரிசேயர், மறைநூல் அறிஞர் என, அதிகாரவர்க்கம் இயேசுவை பழிவாங்க காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. மற்றொரு பக்கத்தில், பொதுமக்கள் இயேசுவை...

திருப்பாடல் 24: 7, 8, 9, 10 படைகளின் ஆண்டவர் என்கிற வார்த்தை, பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு நூலில் ஏறக்குறைய 261 முறை வருகிறது. 1சாமுவேல் 1: 3 ல், முதன்முறையாக இந்த வார்த்தைப் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. விண்ணகத்தில் இருக்கிற படைகளுக்கு தலைவராக ஆண்டவர் இருக்கிறார் என்பதுதான் இதனுடைய பொருளாகும். இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களின் படைகளுக்கும் கடவுள் தான் தலைவர் என்பதையும் மறைமுகமாகக் குறிக்கக்கூடிய சொற்களாகவும் இவற்றைப் பார்க்கலாம். தாவீது அரசர், படைகளின் ஆண்டவர் என்று சொல்கிறபோது, இந்த விண்ணகத்திற்கு மட்டுமல்லாது, மண்ணகத்திற்கும், இங்கிருக்கிற படைகளுக்கும் ஆண்டவர் தான் தலைவராக இருக்கிற என்கிற பொருளில், இங்கே எழுதுகிறார். ஆக, கடவுள் தான் அனைத்திற்கும் அதிபதி என்பதை, இந்த வார்த்தைகள் நமக்குத் தெளிவுபடுத்துகிறது. படைகளின் தலைவராக இருக்கிறவர் தன்னுடை சேனையை வழிநடத்தி, அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை கொடுக்க வேண்டும். மக்களைப் பாதுகாக்க வேண்டும். விண்ணகத்திற்கும், மண்ணகத்திற்கும் அதிபதியாக இருக்கக்கூடிய கடவுள் தன்னுடைய மகனை இந்த உலகத்திற்கு அனுப்புகிறார். பாவத்திலிருந்து...
