மறைநூல் அறிஞர்களும், பரிசேயர்களும் இறைவாக்கினர்களுக்கு அழகான கல்லறைகளைக் கட்டினார்கள். நேர்மையாளர்களின் நினைவுச்சின்னங்களை அழகுபடுத்தினார்கள். இவ்வளவையும் செய்துவிட்டு, ”எங்கள் மூதாதையர்களின் காலத்தில் நாங்கள் இருந்திருந்தால், இறைவாக்கினர்களின் கொலைக்கு உடந்தையாக இருந்திருக்க மாட்டோம்” என்றார்கள். ஆனால், அவர்கள் மூதாதையர்களின் காலத்தில் இருந்திருந்தாலும், அதைத்தான் செய்திருப்பார்கள் மற்றும் இப்போதும் அதைத்தான் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று இயேசு உறுதியாக, அதே வேளையில் கடுமையாகச் செய்கிறார். எதற்காக இயேசு இவ்வளவு கடுமையான வார்த்தைகளைப் பயன்படுத்துகிறார்? என்பதற்கு தொடர்ந்து வரக்கூடிய வார்த்தைகள் பதில் தருகிறது. இஸ்ரயேல் வரலாறு முழுவதுமே இறைவாக்கினர்களைக் கொன்றொழித்த இரத்தம்படிந்த வரலாறாகத்தான் இருக்கிறது. அதற்கு ஆபேலும், செக்கரியாவும் சாட்சிகளாகக் குறிப்பிடப்படுகிறார்கள். ”இவ்வாறு நேர்மையாளரான ஆபேலின் இரத்தம் முதல் திருக்கோவிலுக்கும் பலிபீடத்திற்கும் நடுவே நீங்கள் கொன்ற பரக்கியாவின் மகன் சக்கரியாவின் இரத்தம்வரை இம்மண்ணில் சிந்தப்பட்ட நேர்மையாளர் அனைவரின் இரத்தப்பழியும் உங்கள் மேல் வந்து சேரும்” (23: 35) ஏன் ஆபேலும், சக்கரியாவும் இங்கே குறிப்பிடப்படுகிறார்கள்? ஆபேலின் கொலை முதல் புத்தகமான...

மத்தேயு 23:23-26 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துதுகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். அன்புமிக்கவர்களே! இன்றைய நற்செய்தியைப் படிக்கும் போது நமக்கு இரண்டு விதமான உணா்வுகள் வெளிப்படுகின்றன. (1) இயேசு ரொம்ப திட்டுவதைப் பார்க்கும் போது ரொம்ப “ஷாக்கா” இருக்கிறது (2)மறைநூல் அறிஞர்கள், பரிசேயர்கள் அடிக்கடி இயேசுவை குற்றம் சாட்டினர். பல தொல்லைகளைக் கொடுத்துக்கொண்டே இருந்தனர். இயேசு சரியாக நேரத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துகிறார். இது அவர்களுக்கு தேவைதான் என்ற உணர்வும் ஏற்படுகிறது. இயேசு ஏன் திட்டுகிறார்?. அன்பு, இரக்கம் மிகுந்த கடவுள் ஏன் இப்படி திட்டுகிறார் என்பதை நாம் பார்க்கும்போது அதற்கு காரணங்கள் இல்லாமல் இல்லை. நாம் இரண்டு காரணங்களை மிகவும் அழுத்தமாக சொல்ல முடியும். 1. கடைப்பிடிக்கவில்லை…. திட்டு வாங்கினார்கள் கடவுளின் முக்கியமான...
