God “has made [Jesus]…Head of the church, which is His body.” —Ephesians 1:22-23 As I write this, a speaker quoted a statistic that only thirty-two percent of registered Catholics in the USA attend Sunday Mass. Our Catholic Church is emaciated. Our spiritual arteries are blocked. Our lifeblood, that is, the Precious Blood of Jesus, is literally not circulating throughout the full body. Jesus cares deeply about any wounded area of His body. He would leave the ninety-nine in the “wasteland” to save the one missing (Lk 15:4). We are in the 32% going to Sunday Mass. லூக்கா 12:8-12 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் பிறந்ததும் அம்மா என்ற அழகான வார்த்தையை பேசுகிறோம். அந்த வார்த்தையைப் பேசிய பிறகு வளர வளர வாயிலிருந்து வரும் வார்த்தைகளை கேட்கவே சகிக்க முடியவில்லை. எப்படி பேச வேண்டும் என்பது தெரியவில்லை. பேசத் தெரியாமல் பிறரை காயப்படுத்தும், களங்கப்படுத்தும் நபர்களுக்கான நல்லாலோசனையாக வருகிறது இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகம். என்ன நல்லாலோசனை? அது தூய ஆவியார் தரும் நல்லாலோசனை. தூய ஆவியார் துணையை தினமும் நாடும் போடு அவர் கற்றுக்கொடுக்கிறார். அவர் வழிநடத்துகிறார். எப்படி பேச வேண்டும், என்ன பேச வேண்டும் என்பதெல்லாம் நமக்கு இயல்பாகவே தெரிகிறது. எப்படி தூய ஆவியாரை நாட வேண்டும். இரண்டு வழிகளில்...

“We were predestined to praise His glory by being the first to hope in Christ.” –Ephesians 1:12 We are tailor-made for praising God. Our voices are for singing. Our hands, eyes, and hearts are made just right to be lifted up to the Lord. With our feet we can dance before the Lord (2 Sm 6:14). Our entire bodies can be offered “as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God, your spiritual worship” (Rm 12:1). Our minds and emotions can be trained and inspired to make music unto the Lord and to articulate our love for Him in words....

லூக்கா 12:1-7 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். நாம் அதிகமாக ரகசியங்களை, பேசக்கூடாதவைகளை பேசுவதற்கு நாம் தேடுகின்ற இடம் இருள். அந்த இடம் பாதுகாப்பானது அல்ல, அனைத்தும் வெளியே தெரிந்துவிடும். இருளில் பேசியது அனைத்தும் ஒளியில் கேட்கும். ஆகவே கவனமாய் இருங்கள் என்கிறது இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகம். நாம் வாழும் இந்த நவீன உலகத்தில் ரகசிங்களை பேசுவதற்கு, இச்சைக்குரிய காரியங்களை பேசுவதற்கு, செய்வதற்கு பலவிதமான வாய்ப்புகள் உள்ளது. மறைவாக பேசுவற்கு எவ்வளவு வாய்ப்புகள் உள்ளதோ அதே அளவுக்கு அது தெரிவதற்கும் உள்ளது. இதற்கு என்ன செய்யலாம்? இரண்டு வழிகள் எப்போதும் உண்டு. 1. ஒளியை விரும்பலாம் இந்த உலகில் எதுவும் மறைவு கிடையாது என்ற விழிப்புணர்வு வேண்டும்....

“The Lord has made His salvation known.” —Psalm 98:2 Jesus accused the people of His time of standing behind the murders committed by their fathers (Lk 11:48). Their fathers murdered the prophets, who were innocent and holy messengers of God. In doing so, they rejected God, Who sent the prophets (cf Mt 21:33-46).
