லூக் 11 : 14-23 இரட்டை நிலைப்பாட்டைக் களைய இன்றைய நற்செய்தியை வாசித்தவுடன் ஒரு நகைச்சுவைதான் நினைவுக்கு வந்தது. “உனக்கு வந்தா இரத்தம் எனக்கு வந்தா தக்காளிச் சட்னியா” என்ற நகைச்சுவை. இது சிரிப்பதற்கு மட்டுமல்ல சிந்திப்பதற்கும் நம்மை அழைக்கிறது. இதில் சிந்திக்க என்ன இருக்கிறதென்றால் நம்முடைய இரட்டை வேடம். இந்த வேடத்தை தேவைக்கு ஏற்றவாறு போட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம். தேவையில்லை என்றால் நாம் கழற்றி எறிந்து விடுகிறோம். இதனையே இன்றைய நற்செய்தியில் நம்மால் காணமுடிகிறது. பரிசேயர்கள் இயேசுவிடம் வந்து, ‘நீர் பேய்களின் தலைவரைக் கொண்டே பேய் ஓட்டுகிறீர்’ என்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள் செய்கின்ற வல்ல செயல்கள் அனைத்தும் கடவுளின் வல்லமையால் நடக்கிறது என்கிறார்கள். இதைத்தான் பலநேரங்களில் பரிசேயத்தனம் என்போம். இந்த இரட்டை நிலைப்பாட்டைக் களையவே இன்றைய நற்செய்தியும் தவக்காலமும் நம்மை அழைக்கிறது. சில இரட்டை நிலைகள் : • நான் எதையாவது சாதித்தால் அது என்னுடைய திறமையினால் என்கிறேன். அதையே...

திருவிவிலியத்தை இரண்டாகப் பிரித்தோமென்றால் அது (1) பழைய ஏற்பாடு, (2) புதிய ஏற்பாடு. பழைய ஏற்பாட்டை இரண்டாகப் பிரித்தோமென்றால், (1) முதல் ஐந்து புத்தகங்களான தோரா, இவை அனைத்தும் திருச்சட்டங்களைப் பற்றியும் அவற்றை நாம் எவ்வாறு கடைபிடிக்க வேண்டும் என்பது பற்றியும் எடுத்துரைக்கின்றது. (2) மற்ற அனைத்தையும் இறைவாக்குகளலாக (பல உட்பிரிவுகள் இருந்தாலும்) எடுத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ஆனால் இவையனைத்திலும் ஏதோ ஒன்று குறையிருப்பதாகவும், முழுமையைப் பெறுவதற்காக காலம் காலமாகக் காத்திருப்பதையுமே நாம் அனைவரும் அறிந்ததே. இந்த நிறைவைக் கொடுப்பவரே இயேசு. அவரது படிப்பினைகள் அனைத்தும் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டோடு இணையும் பொழுதே, ஒரு முழுமையும் நிறைவும் பெறுகிறது. இந்த நிலையை அறிந்து கொள்வது வெறும் முதல் படிநிலைதான். “In the fire Azariah stood up and prayed aloud.” –Daniel 3:25 Lent is the imitation of Jesus’ forty days in the desert (Mt 4:1ff). It is a desert experience in which we undergo “a trial by fire” (1 Pt 4:12). In the midst of the flames, we are tempted to grumble against the Lord or blame other people for our trials.
