கடவுளின் பேரன்பில் எப்போதும் நிலையாக நம்பிக்கை வைத்துள்ளேன்

திருப்பாடல் 52: 8, 9 ”கடவுளின் பேரன்பில் எப்போதும் நிலையாக நம்பிக்கை வைத்துள்ளேன்” சவுல் தாவீதைக் கொல்வதற்காகத் துடித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார். தாவீதை மட்டுமல்ல, அவரோடு நெருக்கமானவர்களையும், குறிப்பாக குருக்களையும் கொலை செய்வதற்கு ஆணையிடுகிறார். அகிமலேக்கின் புதல்வர்களுள் ஒருவனான அபியத்தார் தாவீதிடம் வந்தடைகிறார். அவரிடத்தில் நடந்ததை விவரிக்கிறார். அப்போது தாவீது, ”உன் தந்தை வீட்டார் அனைவரும் இறப்பதற்கு நானே காரணம்” என்று குற்ற உணர்ச்சியில் கதறுகிறார். எனவே, அவரை தன்னோடு தங்குமாறு வேண்டுகிறார் (1சாமுவேல் 22: 22). இப்படிப்பட்ட துயரமான சூழ்நிலையிலிருந்து விடுபட, தன்னுடைய உள்ளத்தில் இருப்பதை எழுத்து வடிவத்தில் தாவீது எழுதுகிறார். அதுதான் இந்த திருப்பாடல். இந்த திருப்பாடலில் கடவுளின் பேரன்பில் எப்போதும் நிலையாக நம்பிக்கை வைத்துள்ளதாக தாவீது வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். வாழ்க்கையில் எது நடந்தாலும், கடவுள் என்னோடு இருக்கிறார் என்பது தாவீதின் ஆழமான நம்பிக்கை. இக்கட்டான சூழ்நிலையிலும், நெருக்கடியான காலக்கட்டத்திலும் ஆண்டவரின் உடனிருப்பை உணர்ந்து வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். அவருடைய உள்ளம் பதற்றமாக இருக்கிற வேளையில்,...
