ഇന്നത്തെ സുവിശേഷം…. …മറക്കാതിരിക്കുക നമ്മുടെ ദൌത്യം…. തിരുസഭാ മാതാവ് ആണ്ടുവട്ടത്തിലെ നാലാം ഞായറാഴ്ച ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. വിശുദ്ധ ലൂക്കായുടെ സുവിശേഷം നാലാം അദ്ധ്യായം 21 മുതല്‍ 30 വരെയുള്ള വാക്യങ്ങളാണ് ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നത്. യേശു തന്റെ യതാര്‍ത്ഥ വ്യക്തിത്വത്തോടെ തന്റെ പരസ്യ ജീവിതം ആരംഭിക്കുകയാണ്. നിങ്ങള്‍ കേട്ട ഈ തിരുവെഴുത്തു ഇന്ന് നിറവേറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇവന്‍ ജോസഫിന്റെ മകനല്ലേ, എന്നുള്ള യേശുവിന്റെ നാട്ടുകാരുടെ ചോദ്യം അവരുടെ അജ്ഞതയെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. യേശു തന്റെ ദൌത്യം ആരംഭിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷമായും പരോക്ഷമായും അനേകം ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്നതായി നമുക്ക് കാണുവാന്‍ സാധിക്കും. എന്നാല്‍ ആ ചോദ്യങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നില്‍ അടിപതറാതെ താന്‍ എവിടെ നിന്ന് വന്നുവെന്നും തന്റെ ദൌത്യം എന്താണെന്നും താന്‍ എവിടെക്കാണ്‌ പോകുന്നതെന്നുമുള്ള പൂര്‍ണമായ തിരിച്ചറിവില്‍ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് യേശു സംസാരിക്കുകയും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ കൃസ്ത്യാനി ലോകത്തിന്റെ വഴികള്‍ക്ക് എതിരെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നവനാണ്. ക്രിസ്തു ലോകത്തില്‍ ആയിരിക്കുവാന്‍ വന്നവനാനെങ്കിലും ഒരിക്കലും ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെതായിരുന്നില്ല. ലോകത്തിന്റെ ഒരു മോഹങ്ങള്‍ക്കും യേശുവിനെ കീഴ്പ്പെടുത്തുവാന്‍ സാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല....
