God made. Adam bit. Noah arked. Abraham split. Jacob fooled. Joseph ruled. Bush talked. Moses balked. Pharaoh plagued. People walked. Sea divided. Tablets guided. Promise landed. Saul freaked. David peeked. Prophets warned. Jesus born. God walked. Love talked. Anger crucified. Hope died. Love rose. Spirit flamed. Word spread. God remained.
Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who live on this earth with no one to call their own. May Your love surround them and make them feel wanted, instead of rejected. Lord, bless the old and the young who long for a family. We pray that homes will be opened to young ones who are seeking adoptive parents. May all of us truly become one Christian family – with members accountable to and for one another. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those who are grieving – those struggling with mute pain and are suffering due to irreparable loss. Jesus, only Your Holy Spirit can heal our grief – some of us are in too much agony – affected deeply by death, end of relationships, illnesses and crisis. Come into our situations and be our peace. Prompt Christians to go forward, reach out, help the weak and live up to our name and calling, to serve those who are suffering. Amen
