A Gift in Jesus
While counting my blessings each day, Moving forward on life’s way, I’m reminded of the Gift I have In Jesus, With His uplifting words He has to say. He’s brought a message of hope, When trials overcame; These tidings filled with love, I’ve returned to others the same. When my faith has been tried, And my heart needs a lift, God has sent His Son, His precious and glorious Gift.
Today, we pray for childless couples
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all Your children who are longing to hold a baby in their arms. Lord, we pray for mercy. We pray for the grace to trust You and for strength, if the wait has been long. May all marriage beds be kept holy. Forgive all the sins couples have committed against their spirit, soul and body. We pray that more and more childless men and women will be open to giving orphans a home. May their cries for a complete family of their own be heard, Lord Jesus. Amen.
