மத் 5 : 43 -48 ‘அன்பே கடவுள்’ (1யோவான் 4:8) என்பது உண்மையென்றால் ‘அன்பே மனிதன்’ என்று அமைவது தான் நியதி. ஒவ்வொருவரும் கடவுளின் சாயலோடு படைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். ‘என் தந்தை நிறைவுள்ளவராய் இருப்பது போல நீங்களும் நிறைவுள்ளவராய் இருங்கள் என்கிறார் இயேசு. மனிதனின் நிறைவு என்பது அவன் புனிதனின் நிலையை அடைவதே. அவரின் சாயலோடு படைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அவரின் சாயலாகவே மாற வேண்டும். இது சாத்தியமா? சாத்தியமே. எப்படியென்றால், அன்பினால் இது சாத்தியமாகும். நாங்கள் தான் எங்களை அன்பு செய்கிறவர்களை அன்பு செய்கிறோமே என்பது போதாமை. மாறாக விண்ணகத் தந்தை எவ்வாறு அனைவரையும் ஒன்று போல் அன்பு செய்கிறாரோ அவரைப் போல நாமும் தீயவர்களையும், நமது பகைவர்களையும் அன்பு செய்ய வேண்டும். அவன் எனது பெயரைக் கெடுத்து விட்டானே! வாழ்வை சீர்குலைத்து விட்டானே! எனக்குரிய வாய்ப்புகளைத் தட்டிப் பறித்து விட்டானே! அவனை எவ்வாறு அன்பு செய்ய முடியும் என்று நினைக்கும் பொழுதெல்லாம்...

THE HIGHEST STANDARDS

“Everyone who grows angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment.” –Matthew 5:22 Jesus has a higher standard for personal relationships than we do.
