Today, we pray for those seriously ill

Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us who are now really ill. Only You, the Divine Healer, can give us the complete healing for our spirits, souls and bodies. We pray that Your Spirit comforts those who are in pain. May no one go away from Your presence, unhappy or suffering. Send angels of love to those in suffering, especially the ones who are all alone. Heal us all, sweet Jesus. May our lives become great witnesses to Your touch. Amen.

She shall respond there as in the days of her youth, when she came up from the land of Egypt. On that day, says the LORD, She shall call me “My husband,” and never again “My baal.” I will espouse you to me forever: I will espouse you in right and in justice, in love and in mercy; I will espouse you in fidelity, and you shall know the LORD. Today, we pray for those in debt

Lord Jesus, today we pray for the grace to be free from debt. Lord, help us honour You first with our money. Whatever we earn, let the first fruits be Yours. May our brothers and sisters who are facing loans, mortgages, crisis situations or loss of jobs – be helped in time, by Your angels. May we get back everything the devil has ever stolen from us. Give us financial blessings and Your peace to enjoy it with. Amen.

See, your king shall come to you; a just savior is he, meek, and riding on an ass, on a colt, the foal of an ass. He shall banish the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; the warrior’s bow shall be banished, and he shall proclaim peace to the nations. His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. Responsorial Psalm ps 145:1-2, 8-9, 10-11, 13-14 R/ (cf. 1)...

Today, we pray for ‘pretend Christians’

Lord Jesus, today we bring to the foot of Your cross all those are putting up a show of piety. Lord, when You walked the earth, You hated hypocrisy and called it the yeast of the Pharisees. We pray that You cleanse Your church and its people of any trace of power abuse, hypocrisy, deception and lies. Tear down the walls of evil. Make us know that the punishment for deceivers will be great from a God who abhors deceit. Let true repentance happen and let none of us make a mockery of our faith. Amen.
